Dooms of Evisath (A Long term game proposal)

I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.

Dooms of Evisath (A Long term game proposal)

#1 Post by Ithril »

I am looking for 6 or more players to start a game.
I'm planning to use mostly 2ed rules, pulling from some 1st ed material and even BECMI.

The world will be sort of home brew, but I'll be using published modules, with some modifications (naturally), and custom unprinted additional fill in plots and sub-stories. I'm planning to begin the game in late October, which will give me time to gauge interest, and make the alterations required for the first module, maps etc. This will be a LONG TERM GAME. I want to start characters at 1st level, and if all goes well, it will ultimately culminate in a confrontation with several Big Baddies, possibly including (but certainly not limited to) Orcus.

Planned posting schedule will be somewhat flexible with holidays and such happening, but my schedule is fairly well established, which should allow me to post on Mondays pretty regularly, and possibly a bit more often as required. I'm looking for weekly participation at the minimum, or a quicker pace as player schedules allow.

Love the map. I am interested, October, November and December are my busy months but I think I should be able to handle once a week or a bit more.

Count me in.

Did you want a new Character or just continue with Igber the Mop?
(Either way is OK with me, creating characters is easy and fun.)

I'm not.

There is still a very strong "old-school" core here in the forums.

Agree. No school like the old school.

I’m interested if there room. Will Gladly take a backseat to anyone that isn’t in a game or three that needs some more action.

Yes, Ravenn and Darithe, but honestly, I wasn't expecting this much interest. I might take a couple more, but not too many more at all.

I'll be posting a link to the game thread, and instructions there for making a character by Monday (or as soon as the Forum gods have made one).
Thank you Everyone, for your patience; I'm looking forward to a fantastic game!

:D No worries. You're in.

I will post the link to the game as soon as the wonderful :) mods make the subforum for me.

After we get enough players, I'll keep applications in queue to replace players as needed (hopefully not though), or maybe start a second thread in the gameworld.

10/06 UPDATE:
We have a forum for the game, and it will take me a day or two to set up the character creation and other information. Thanks for your patience, and I'm really loooking forward to this.

Okay, player creation rules are posted, and players are added. I'll be starting another thread there for Q&A.

Naturally I'll continue to check here & update it when/if I need more/new players.

Hello, I'm new to the Unseen Servant forum. Is there still space for another player in this game?

Welcome Goblin Homie!
Hope you get in and find other games to your liking.
Be well,
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.
