Re: CHAPTER 9: Return to the Tunnels
Belial
Since he can't contribute right now, Belial contents himself with looking out the windows to try and see what's around them. When he sees the beetle swarm, he shudders.
Those things are most grody-fied, amigos- don't eat 'em!

Nods at Silvestri's suggestion, and presses on past the station, looking for the next platform.

"Hey
The old ones speak of winter
The young ones praise the sun
And time just slips away
Oh
Running into nowhere
Turning like a wheel
And a year becomes a day
Whenever we dream, that's when we fly
So here is a dream for just you and I
We'll find the Sacred Heart
Somewhere bleeding in the night
Look for the light
And find the Sacred Heart"

Tunnel Complex, 297D/81 (Morning)
Bruce pushes several buttons to mimic a pattern, and the pods continue past the “Station Stop” at their 5mph pace. After another 11 minutes, 19 minutes since you left the first turntable, the pods decelerate and pod #1 halts on another turn mechanism, waiting for a command signal.
OOC: The blue line on Blixx’s map represents the travel path. The other two maps are to scale, relative to each map’s individual locations.

Silvestri seems to be getting into the spirit of adventure too, and smiles as the pods zoom along.

Agreed, agrees Denslow. Right is the right way.

My vote is yes.

Re: CHAPTER 9: Return to the Tunnels
yup, right here then straight on at the next turntable should get us to a terminal
Re: CHAPTER 9: Return to the Tunnels
Denslow says, Perhaps we go until we get to that terminal. Unless we see something of interest on the way.

The baboon has been strangely quiet. Occasionally, he flexes his wings- often grunting or groaning in pain when he does.
Lead on, my dudes! I'm just along for the ride....

The Gam’A Zone, 297D/81 (Morning)
After going right (North) at the turntable, you travel for another 10-12 minutes and pass two “Station Stops” along the way. Shortly after passing the second, Bruce slows the pace of the vehicle and comes to a halt. Pod #2, in the trail position, automatically matches with the lead pod.
As the vehicle slows and stops, Silvestri, MacMak and Frank see why Bruce stops the pods. The tunnel segments in front of the vehicles have broken and collapsed onto the lower rail track. The rail doesn’t appear severely damaged or broken, but an investigation and clearing is required.
MAPS:
OOC: You must deploy the forward emergency stair from each pod to disembark and walk down the tunnel.
You have traveled for almost an hour in these hyper pods.
The ghosted hexes on the top map represents 1 mile.

Belial
Belial has gotten bored with watching the darkness outside the pods. He's all for exploring the tracks- and clearing them, if need be.

The Gam’A Zone, 297D/81 (Morning)
Bruce and Kurot deploy each pod’s emergency stairs. MacMak, Silvestri and Belial disembark the vehicles and walk down the tunnel to investigate the rubble, debris and collapsed tunnel segments.
Two voids are exposed by the collapse of the tunnel sides. On the east side, a 30ft wide by 30ft deep void leads to a 5ft wide dark passage that curves away to the east. A larger 30ft wide by 50ft deep void is exposed on the west side. Two passages exit this chamber, both dark beyond the extend of the light. One goes north, the other to the south. Each side chamber is a natural void formed by the shifting earth. The ceilings disappear into blackness but appear to be narrow. The dirt and debris on the floors of each chamber appears to be disturbed by movement going across the tunnel into the exit passages. Belial catches a faint whiff of carrion, but nothing overwhelming.
The rubble against the lower rail in the tunnel will take 30-45 minutes to clear before the hyperpods can pass through this section.
