The Gam’A Zone, Day 76, Afternoon
Unwilling to risk another foray into the dangerous, fungal forest, you make your way towards the large, gaping maw of a grotto (A) to the northeast of the mushroom grove.
The interior just beyond the irregular edge of the 30 foot high by 20 foot oval fracture is shadowed by the afternoon sun, but there is enough illumination to tell that sand and debris from the canyon floor has blown into the cavity over a period of time.

Denslow looks for any signs of tracks in the sand leading into the cave.

There are no discernible track impressions, but there are several small path markings in the sandy soil. The trails appear to have been made by small rodent-type animals, and they lead in and out of the cave.
