In your fall Asad dropped his great scimitar and needs to take round 4 to get up and grab his weapon or he can getup and attack with a different weapon once if you have something like a knife or dagger.ravenn4544 wrote:Asad dex check (I always forget if its 3d6 or 1d20 so both are below)

Asad curses Fate for it's fickle nature! He picks himself off the ground while grabbing his beloved scimitar.

Abrex
Abrex looks around and feels he's out of immediate danger and takes the round to drink and extra healing potion. Abrex asks fate to be merciful.
Extra Healing Potion [3d8+3] = 15+3 = 18 Fate give me big numbers please.
Abrex looks and feels 99% healthy.
Potion removed from inventory.

Re: Chapter #4: Adventure #4 Eleven Baneful Gates
Jamal whoops with joy at the stunned Ankheg. Just then Alara appears in a crackle of lightning and a gust of wind.
The little djinnling looks down pouting a big lip. No dice little furr feet. I couldn’t find it. she says hanging her head.
Jamal sighs and shakes his curls. Well that’s just great. What have you been doing, painting your nails?” the halfling snaps irritably.
Yes I often just twiddle my thumbs and get a mani-pedi when you are in dire straights. It heightens the enjoyment of my day!” she replies sarcastically. ”It wasn’t there. What do you want me to do if it isn’t there?
Jamal waves her away and takes a step back and then another, hiding behind the larger more martial team members.
An unseen servant. Find it please! Hurry the sha’ir barks. Alara salutes her ‘master’ and crackles from view.
[1d100] = 67 : [1d6+1] = 6+1 = 7 : [1d6+2] = 2+2 = 4 : [1d6+3] = 3+3 = 6 : [1d6+4] = 1+4 = 5

Abrex
Now turned to see the last Ankheg beast.
Abrex finishes his potion and immediately feels and looks better. He notices Jamal arguing with his djinn,"HAHAHHAHA. Cough...Cough...." He gathers his wits and takes hold of the seriousness of the situation still left to be dealt with and hopes his friends can finish the beast while the potions full effects take hold of him. "Finish it friends. May fate allow you to do well."

Re: Chapter #4: Adventure #4 Eleven Baneful Gates
Dismayed by his inept marksmanship over the course of combat, Ameer whispers for Fate to shine upon him once more and guide his arrows towards the intended target (the remaining ankheg). When his shots fly wide, once again, he sighs and further laments his lack of combat prowess. He's a scholar, not a warrior after all.
OOC: AC 9 and AC 12, quite likely both miss. >:|

Dubb
Singing in the desert
Dubb, sensing the end of the battle is near, accelerates his song hoping to reach its crescendo as the last beast falls.
At the same time, he's making a mental note of the wounded and his plans to aid them.

Emma
Trying to remember if 2e has flanking bonus....
Emma will maneuver behind the big bug and try to attack from behind assuming it is not too far to run for the gnome.
She slashes with her new Jambaya.
To Hit (THACO 20): [1d20] = 3 Jambiya Damage- [1d4] = 1

Abrex
Abrex in a flank position attacks Ankheg #3 to help his friends as they seem to be fighting fate too. He switches to his longbow firing from range.
I think there is a plus to attack from flank just can't remember what it is. +2??
Composite Longbow Thac0 (17) To Hit [1d20+2] = 18+2 = 20, Dmg SML [1d8] = 7
Composite Longbow Thac0 (17) To Hit [1d20+2] = 17+2 = 19, Dmg SML [1d8] = 6
Both solid hits, "Thank you Learned Zann and Fate for guiding my arrows. Now friend strike true. Learned Zann and Fate are with us."

Asad, his beloved back in his hands, spins around - the blade flashing majestically in the sun - crushes down with a sickening thud! He laughs with a maniacal,"Ah HA!!"
