Warband - an OD&D riff off of Black Crusade

A great free rpg by Mike Davison the Ruins and Ronins guy of the Sword +1 Blog. http://swordplusone.blogspot.com

A few tweaks to classes will occur and a revamp of the uninspired magic system that darkly reflects 40k chaos psycher powers. Basically a psycher pool system.

This will be a homebrew setting which will be familiar but different from the 40k universe.

Download the free rules and maybe a foul, dastardly crew of Chaos devotees will see if they can bend the universe to the will of their dark masters.

I guess Her Dark Majesty, God Empress of the Imperium, Eviceris Sengir the Everliving, Mistress of the Six Hundred Ninety Six Blasphemies, the Black Sabbath, Queen of the the Crystal Sarcophagus, Demon Lord and Mother, Void Caller, Sorceress Supreme of the Six Fold Art, Irresistible Dominatrix of the Material and Immaterial etc etc etc will not have brave and brutal exorcist knights defend the infinite dynasty from the infection of light. Sad days indeed.

Despite the lack of interest I am still working on this.

The Psyker Stat equates to one's Psyker points generated with 3d6 during PC creation.

Psyker abilities/spells cost 1 Psyker Point to generate regardless of power rank. There are 3 ranks of Psyker power - Minor, Major and Great. Psyker abilities/spells can be augmented by expending Psyker points.

Psykers gain 1 Psyker Stat point each level advancement. Psyker can manifest a number of abilities/spells following the progression below.

Level 1 Psyker
Psyker Stat is 14 thus has 14 Psyker points which can be used to manifest and augment a total of 4 minor abilities/spells per rest. Psyker points are regained at 1 point an hour.
