Brother Puddington, Human Cleric of Ulaa
"Well, he'll surely turn up. Unless, of course, he's been eaten by a plant creature or a... oh..." says Brother Puddington. "At least the security ro-bots won't molest him. Perhaps we should check out the healing quarters as long as we're here. We were told they could be found by following these red lights..." He looks at the others, hopeful - not an expression that comes naturally to his face.

Wrenly the Brown, Human MU
Wrenly trudges on in uncharacteristic silence for a while, lost in thought. Suddenly a light comes into his eyes. "When I left home I forgot to turn the kettle off," he says.

Guido agrees with Brother Puddington. Find that Fingal and let's regroup at the healing quarters, make an action plan.

The adventurers arrive back at the chamber of the silver woman, who remains frozen in place behind the desk area. No sign of Fingal was seen along the way, and no responses to cries of his name except the echo of the voices in the metal corridors.

Porphyry: "I notice that the security creatures have not responded to her summons. Perhaps this means we are free to attempt to access the interior of the card-dispensary. Shame we are absent one thief. Still, perhaps one of our burlier numbers would like to test their mettle?"

The Ravenous Gryev looks clearly conflicted—here is a chance to flex his mighty thews, but it would mean acknowledging the words of the goat-demon. He shuffles his feet and looks uncomfortable.

We should search this place. Getafix will direct the others where to look, using his new ray gun as a pointing device.

Asherrion looks behind the desk that the silver woman is at. He continues calling, Fing?
Re: Expedition to the Barrier Peaks - Chapter One
"Where did he wander off to?" wonders Andover, frowning testily. "This is where we last saw him. It may be futile to attempt to track him on these bare metal floors, especially now that we're walked back and forth a couple of times, but I will try."
The ranger drops to a knee and inspects the floor for any signs of Fingal's passage.
Tracking (lower=better?): [1d100] = 35

A search of the room finds nothing of particular note.
Andover examines the floor and hallway leading out of the room. Unlike the vegenoids who lefts trails of dirt specks, weeds and leafs, Fingal's soft-booted feet leave no trail on the metal floors.
Then, as if on cue...
