Good job, guys. I've been following along with baited breath. Could you just pop over to the fire pit and gather up the dust of Eduardo the Useless before you go? Thanks. :)

Pixie: Will do!

Zhym: Do you want me to make an in-game post reflecting that, or is this enough?

What dust? Eduardo fell into a pit of lava. It's not like you can just sweep his remains off the floor. ;)

Congratulations I was rooting for your ultimate demise. I thought the crown and sceptre trick might just work on living creatures or make the old lich more powerfull. Instant death teeth, must get me some of those from the dentist.

Congrats and thanks to Zhym for taking over and running the two parties.

Yeah, Stirling, I was worried about the same thing. That's why Zoster didn't try that first. Thought it was another TOH trick!

BTW, everyone who stepped into the mists made their saving throws. In both parties.

Damned disappointing, that was.

That was part of the reason I asked! You did voice your disappointment at the time. And I haven't said this before, but thanks for DMing this. You did a great job and it was a lot of fun.

Thanks! It's been a blast to run, even if some of the traps never got sprung. More did than I expected, however!

Thanks again for playing, everyone!

Here's a recap of the treasure from Acererak's crypt:
Zhym wrote: Gems
97 small gems, 2,500 gp total value
A 10,000 gp periodot
A 50,000 gp emerald
A 100,000 gp black opal
Two eye-rubies worth 50,000 each
Six tooth-diamonds worth 5,000 each

Potions
Treasure Finding
Undead Control
Polymorph

Scrolls
Protection from Lycanthropes
7 cleric spells (lvl 1-6)
3 MU spells (lvl 1-4)
5 MU spells (lvl 1-6)

Weapons
Vorpal Blade +3 (black leather hilt w/ silver knob-shaped pommel)
Cursed -1 sword (gem-encrusted guard)
Cured berserking +2 sword (ornate guard w/ lion's head)
Spear +3, cursed backbiting

Miscellaneous Items
Ring of 4 Wishes
Rod of Rulership
Staff of Power
Amulet of the Planes
Cube of Force
Deck of Many Things
I was disappointed no one went for the Deck. That could have been grand fun. Also, it was a shame Elsa died so quickly before she could discover that two of the three swords she picked up were cursed—but the third was one of the few weapons that could actually harm Acererak!

Speaking of which, spoilers on what it takes to damage that SOB:

Wow....that is one helluva treasure haul.....but the means to damage the skull/lich? Who would've thought of most of those? I DID briefly consider slinging one of those gems; but figured I'd probably miss and never get the chance again so why not try the hammer and/or rod......what a waste that would've been. :)

Quite the treasure haul though....and I think I said it before, but it never hurts to say it again; THANKS SO MUCH for running a great adventure! It's been a blast Zhym and everyone involved!

What, you think I'd give all those high-powered toys to PCs I thought I'd have to deal with again? :D

I kid, mostly. But I do wonder what module could possibly handle all the firepower those three PCs now have. I had been thinking about the Expedition to the Barrier Peaks, but Grognardsw beat me to the punch on that one (and I'm playing in that game, so I can't exactly start up one of my own)!
