OOC thread
Re: OOC thread
No guys I'm here!!! Excitedly waiting for a summary of the group's moves after the latest happenings (mainly how Norbold reacts to Ox' request to put a befriending spell on the sleeping goblins). While we're waiting for that, there's always time to do other general post-combat maintenance like ahem...hint...hint searching bodies....resting...trying on the helmet bell as a helmet......putting the dog out of its misery....testing odd items in bags you've forgotten....having a snack...fiddle with frogs... the sky's the limit ! (Or the ceiling of Rat room anyway)

Jacob is making Norbold a mummy! With bandages!
Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.
Re: OOC thread
Makes me think of an incident when I lived in China: there were often moneychangers on the streets, approaching you with "Change money ? Change money?"
Then one day, this bloke came up to me and instead, said "Change mummy?"....

Re: OOC thread
thats ok the dwarf is just doing nothing really other than being confused about hiding frogs.

Re: OOC thread
it's easier to deal with a drunk dwarf than it is a drunk gnome. Dwarves can hold their liquor better after all

Re: OOC thread
I suppose we all get to at least end on our own terms a little here? So I made my ending post unless we want to RP a little more. Thank you for the game Nordbo, and I presume we will see this moved to completed soon enough. It was fun just a shame it was mostly just Dram and I at the end there with some NPC's or NPC'd characters. Thanks again fellas

Re: OOC thread
Yep, I liked your post GW. Neat summing up with Korin's reflections over the trek, leaving options open - excellent!
Thanks those of you who stuck it all the way, I appreciate your determinedness and good spirit even though we were kinda flying on fumes near the end. Thanks also to those of you who only managed part of the ride.
Hope you liked the 'souvenir' !

Re: OOC thread
It was a very fun campaign. I wanted to search for more treasure but once we got into the cave there was no time to search or I was more interested in finding my comrades. I did not know it was the end of the campaign. I thought we were saving them and going back in.

Re: OOC thread
Dram, I'm glad you enjoyed it, Ox sparred very well with Eddy, I thought! Good plays.
Well, as your merry bunch of adventurers had anyway voluntarily decided to leave (and Eddy had completed his Orb quest), as there were injured members, and as you had already raised enough ruckus to wake all the goblins in the neighbourhood - things kinda had to logically develop the way they did at this point. And as the trap was there, and Eddy knew about it beforehand, so hey - why not stop the horde ? Thanks to Eddy, all PCs live to fight another day
Even if it was getting increasingly difficult to NPC 70% of a group, I was still reluctant to bring in new players at this juncture - their first experience would more or less have been getting chased out of a mountain and then retire to heal, not much fun for a newly joining player!
But... please don't see it as an end of a campaign, see it as the end of one adventure. A campaign, to me, was always something much bigger.
Somewhere, Wob is plotting his dastardly revenge. Mwoa-ha-haaaa.......
