As far as background goes, I know we are in Greyhawk, but I dunno what age/timeline we are in so, I may fill this in later if he lives long enough. To add some flavor he is a worshiper of Clanggedin Silverbeard (Dwarven diety of battle) -- if that fits into the dwarven pantheon at the time.

Background:
Peadar has just recently come of age. His tribal tradition is to go on a five year walkabout at their coming of age. Most never make it more than a month before returning to the comforts of their village. A few, a very rare few, have stayed gone longer, and talked of treasures and gold just waiting to be found upon their return. He wants to be one to come home with such stories...

Rogar is a bit sickly for a Dwarf. He uses a sword instead of a more traditional choice since his health has often left him fatigued when fighting for too long. He is very aware of his shortcomings and often tries to make for it by doing more then he can handle.
