Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
Do we all recover 1 point of hp based on a nights sleep?
Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
Bah. I've been really poor at keeping track of HPs lately.
Ok, looks like I lost 6 in the fight and got hjealed for 6, so I'm good.

Based on OSRIC, p124, 'Natural Healing', I'm going to say that you have not rested long enough for this. The text says 'one day of uninterrupted rest', which I'm going to interpret as one full nights rest, at least 8 hours, which you guys did not get.Computer +1 wrote:Do we all recover 1 point of hp based on a nights sleep?

Sorry only been a South Jersey guy for about 8 years, now that I'm amongst the confederate flags (there's two flying proud in my neighborhood) I have gotten more into country music. Never did while I lived in NY.Alethan wrote:That's Billy Ray, Ron.
I'd noticed the use of "Garth" last night when I read the post, and was slightly confused by it, but was too tired to make the connection to the other game. I just thought that I didn't remember two characters having the same name in different games.
Not that I could have said anything, anyway. Just the other week, I used the name of a character on a completely different forum instead of Till over in the Legacy game...

Sorry to burst your bubbles, but think Garth from 'Wayne's World'
Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
I just wanted to let you all know that Onlyme is taking over the PC Venificus. Xayax has bowed out for some reason. So please welcome onlyme to the campaign.

How I could say no, since you offered me half your loot to join?Alethan wrote:Welcome, Onlyme, Ye of the Good Advice Takers!
Seriously, looking forward to it. What I have read so far has been top-notch.
Also... I have never played a magic user before in my life... so good luck. I may mix up some spells and enlighten myself...

Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
welcome. The trick to playing a magic user is to find creative ways to use spells. I'm sure you'll do fine.

Thanks... I am a questioning machine...
Speaking of... Where is my PC? I dont see him in the current action thread? I havent read all of #2 yet, so maybe that would answer it.
edit... it appears Veneficus went with Brok, but fell off when Brok climbed the tree. I will assume he is standing at the base of the tree, listening to his descriptions of what he saw.
Does he need to have a spell "loaded" before day? or was one already being readied.

Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
Hi Onlyme, welcome aboard!
Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
Seeing as how we just woke up, I suspect our benevolent DM would allow you to select your spells for the day from Venificus' spell book afresh, if you so choose.onlyme wrote: Does he need to have a spell "loaded" before day? or was one already being readied.
In any case, doesn't hurt to ask.

Re: OOC / Questions to the DM
He apparently only has Sleep listed on char sheet. Also, I dont see a spell book (among other things) in inventory... Is that important?Alethan wrote:Seeing as how we just woke up, I suspect our benevolent DM would allow you to select your spells for the day from Venificus' spell book afresh, if you so choose.onlyme wrote: Does he need to have a spell "loaded" before day? or was one already being readied.

I dont see where it was ever used, so would it be assume to be memorized from before joining, or from previous day?

I am sure Toni will let you amend any mistakes, like not having a spellbook!onlyme wrote:He apparently only has Sleep listed on char sheet. On his/your character sheet, click the "Show" link to display the hidden character sheet text. There you will find your spells.onlyme wrote:He apparently only has Sleep listed on char sheet. If you want to put them in the Dice Roller character sheet, create a new section on the last tab called "Spell Book" and then edit it to add the spells you have.

Found them... That makes a lot more sense... And I will add them to the char sheet so I can reference them quicker.
and it does appear that sleep is still memorized, so good to go there...
Thanks much
