I play OD&D
I recently got a pdf of the single volume edition of OD&D rules, and it has totally reignited my interest.
I've played the beginning of an OD&D campaign a few years back, but we stopped playing after a few months. Eseomes was my first character in that world. I like how in OD&D dying is more possible. I also like how you get xp from treasure, so you have to calculate risk and reward in the same way the character would, and there is no reason to engage in battle if you don't have to. OD&D is the shit. I'll be looking to join old school games and will eventually start my own.
