I really hope its good, but I think my real issue is I'll never get an actual passing of the torch storyline like Extreme Ghostbusters or jumping into an expanded cannon like where the comics were headed (please let IDW hang onto that license.
I agree 100%. No doubt. There have been a lot of great stories that were dropped over the years including some of what I made cannon earlier on for this little universe. Hopefully this will keep the same feel and spirit as something like EGB or IDW.

Yeah my hope is they are just being clever in the trailers and Reitman is showing just the zany kids saving the world bits and leaving the world building hidden, and hopefully not just a bunch of 10 second cameos.

I hope it is good. Granted I didn't understand why everyone hated the last Ghostbusters movie I actually liked it. Sure almost all the female cast is from SNL or similar comedic background and yes "Thor" playing an idiot was fun to watch. This one imo looks better trailer wise yes some movies the best bits are what is in the trailer and the rest is a rotten tomato. I hope that is not the case here with GB Afterlife. The cameos could be a great way of them tying the story together with the original GB team (hopefully) as they broke out what looks like the original Ecto 1 for this movie (to my pleasure). I hope it is not a "flop" of a movie myself. As I guess I am one of those hopefully optimistic fans that wants to see a successful changing of the guard or transition of the originals to the next generation of GB.

Second the motion! I haven't seen the all-female version, so I can't really comment.

Not entirely sure how low it was but it was below 0 this morning here and right now it's about 21, with a low of 10 for tonight.

It is 20 here at the moment. Supposed to be 2 on Monday morning. We Rarely get below the 20s on a cold year, so this is a big event for Arklahoma. But looks like we will get to see snow which is also really rare here! I think this will be maybe the 6th or 7th time in my life I have seen it here at home.

Yeah I've seen around 10 to 15 below zero here. I have a mountain of snow from my roof but my yard probably has at least a foot or more packed down snow. We've got a winter storm warning in Vermont as well for Monday through to Tuesday morning with estimated 6 to 9 inches in most areas more in the higher elevations and probably northern VT where Rex is.

I did a one night camping trip last weekend, low was 1 F on my little weather center and I got about 2" of powder. The low for the week at my house was -17F and my garage roof has at least a foot of packed snow on it at the moment. I heard 6-10" for the storm early this week with another coming late in the week, but I haven't heard any estimates yet.

Lol understood, but from the looks of it your in Canada-lite so it happens, I live in the south. A ky winter is like rain, some cold, and like 3 days of bad weather maybe, this is all fairly unusual for us.

Yeah I know I worked for a company based in Virginia and Florida so I know what you mean. I just find it hilarious it's the end of the world in a lot of other states when 3 inches of snow comes at them Virginia actually shut down for something up here we would all be sent to work in. I find it funny in a way. Northern states "it's just another day." everyone else "Okay we need to shut everything down."
