Ruthgar takes out his lantern and lights it up as Sandarin closes his eyes and concentrates. Phil stays outside until he finds a hand sized rock to block the door.
Ruthgars lantern lights and lights up the immediate area. You stand in a entrance way approximately 20' wide, the walls are stone and the floor black tile covered in dust and dirt, the entrance way in front of you carries on beyond the torch light.
You are assailed by a mildew musty smell and it is unnearvingly quiet to the point of hearing each others breathing, looking up the lantern light just touches a stone ceiling.
Sandarin senses no evil.

actually I am going to put away he two handed sword and draw my gladius (short sword) as the first one is enhanced and will shed light so though I might see in a 5ft radius I could also become a target that says, "shoot at me!". Saxony follows along side the right hand wall.

Goes to the left side at the edge of the lantern light. Guess we just explore the building bit by bit. It is the building being in a 'waste zone' of the forest that unnerves him. A new cult in an old place? He follows the light bearers.

Sandarin Highhill
The young warrior stands in front of but to the right of the lantern holder.
This way he's not dazzled by the light and doesn't block the light source going out in front of them.

Ruthgar starts edging his way to the left of the entrance to get a better idea how big the room is.

Ruthgar places a single gold coin near the entrance, where it can be easily seen. He then moves slowly forward, holding the lantern high. Using his flail as a make shift cane, he will test the floor for traps or structural changes before each step.

The party moves down the hallway. You travel 30 more feet and ahead you see the edge of your light flare out to the left and right as if the tunnel opens up ahead.
Also laying at the edge of your lantern light ahead you see a form of some kind lying on the ground.

Phillionous Makes sure his sword is loose in its scabbard on his back, and starts advancing in the second rank with his spear held ready to thrust forward as we advance towards the body.

Sandarin Highhill
Sandarin keeps his blade at the ready as he advances with the others.
Upon seeing the shadowy form on the floor, he tries to sense anything in that area

wets his blade ready for any surprises. Probably a dead deer though. He studies the walls for any graffiti, engravings, anything that might show the passage is being used.

thinks about firing an arrow into the body but as it presents no danger yet he watches over the others as they proceed down the hallway.

As his comrades in the front continue their approach Ruthgar continues his as well. He'll take a look behind himself from time to time as well.

You reach the form laying on the round to find a decaying body. It appears to have been a human male and he is torn to shreds with deep gouges all over his body. In the edge of your torch light 30' ahead you see the backs of what look to be wooden pews.
suddenly you hear clicking noises from all around you and out of the darkness into your light come rushing 10 human size skeletons, bones bleached white and covered in tattered clothing.

sees the onrushing undead and he grips his horned ankh holy symbol of
Herne the Hunter. He brandishes in front of him and tries to speak with divine authority,
"Filth of the tomb, be gone to your crypts!"
Turn Skeletons: vs 10, number and duration: [1d20] = 16 [1d12] = 1 [3d4] = 10
It is an impressive altar call but seems only a single figure wishes to repent.
Initiative roll [1d10] = 8

Phil advances on the nearest skeleton and stabs at it with his spear. dealing 4 points of damage.
Attack Roll [1d20+2] = 18+2 = 20 Damage [1d8+4] = 3+4 = 7
corrected damage [1d6+4] = 5+4 = 9
(rolled damage vs. Large by mistake first time, instead of Medium. Should do lower damage. Do 1/2 damage with edged weapons )

Allan slides gracefully to meet an oncoming skeleton. The confined space of battle interrupts his usual forms of precise combat...
To hit with Open Hand [1d20] = 4; Damage S/M/L: [1d3] = 1
