Hi

I'd like to give a wizard a go please.

I rolled the following using the dice roller:

Stats: STR:10, DEX:10, CON:15, INT:16, WIS:7, CHR:13

I hope I have the ordering right, I mapped the names as follows:
Agility = DEX
Stamina = CON
Personality = WIS
Luck = CHR

I've already swapped Intelligence and personality.

Shaidar, though I appreciate you getting a jump on things, I don't love the dice roller's creation script. Would you mind doing the rolls over, with regular macros?

STR: [3d6] = 10
AGIL: [3d6] = 14
STAM: [3d6] = 13
PERS: [3d6] = 10
INT: [3d6] = 13
LUCK: [3d6] = 7

I think I'll have to swap luck and personality.

No problem, man. Just a personal preference. Anyways, the next part is to roll for some background stuff...

We need a d20 to determine your lucky roll (this would be modified by your luck bonus, but I'll give you as +1 on it)

You then choose (or roll d8 for) place of origin. And 2 d100 rolls, one for "Benison" and one for "Doom".

Benison & Dooms:

I rolled on the Lankhmar origins tables for benisons and dooms before I read your post, and got the following, but I can reroll on d100 if thats what you want.

Benison: [1d20] = 18

Doom: [1d20] = 4

Lol, no, that's cool. I goofed. It should be a d30 for lucky roll (my phone's spell check got me there, I just messed up the d20/d100 issue myself)

As for your rolls, looks like Martial Training and Minor Favor, so...

Pick a weapon to be well trained in, and think about what kind of a favor that might be... (this can wait a bit, till more is clear about your character)

Next is languages... you automatically get low Lankhmarese and Kvarchish, as now (as a wizard) roll 1d12 for that extra language.

Wizards start with 3d10 gp.

To make rolls, create an account on the dice roller site (link in upper right), then create a character, which you link to this campaign (# 682). You then under "roll the dice" select your character from the drop down menu, and type something like "Str [3d6]"... that way it logs the roll.

Shaidar, it looks like you get one more language (so roll another d12).

You also get 4 spells. You can cast up to 4th level spells, but only succeed on d20+int mod+level>10+2*spell level, so you may want to concentrate on the lower end of the spectrum.

Spells will be determined randomly, though you can choose the spell level of each choice. D27 to choose a 1st lvl spell, d24 for 2nd or 3rd, and d6 for 4th lvl. Alternatively, you can elect to be a white or black magic user, and select up to two spells from the appropriate list

spell 1 (1st lvl): [1d27] = 26 = Ward Portal
spell 1 stipulation: [1d100] = 24 = Spell requires casting in bright daylight to be fully effective. Casting it in an area with even some gloom or shadows imparts a -1d penalty to the spell check.

spell 2 (1st lvl): [1d27] = 5 = choking cloud
spell 2 stipulation: [1d100] = 37 = Spell requires the caster to stand boldly while casting it. The caster suffers a -2 penalty to his AC during the round(s) he casts the spell

spell 1 (2nd lvl): [1d24] = 19 = Scorching ray
spell 3 stipulation: [1d100] = 57 = none

spell 4 (3rd lvl): [1d24] = 16 = Planar step
spell 4 stipulation: [1d100] = 52 = none

I think I see your rolls there... it looks like you've got the idea right, though those rolls look pretty terrible, so if you want to try again, I'm cool with it :)

I think I will become Fiapy the lucky Fighter! (I know I can swap but I think being a fighter is fine)

I hope Benison is good, Doom I am guessing is not so good... :-(
