Rukiel the Fickle

"We're done then? Good!" Rukiel turns to the deep-elf Belynor and his crew, making sure to say this before taking off. "The place you want to take us to, they use gold, right? If that's the case, I shall go with you AFTER I collect my reward. No point in turning down payment for my services, especially if I didn't have to fight anything, well, 'cept you, but you don't count."

Rukiel will follow the group back to the quest giver and then go through whatever crazy portal the deep-elf conjures up.

Back to Northvale:

Having found the items sent to look for and taking anything that was of interest the group loads everything they're taking into the small wagon/cart that Bagel is pulling realizing that the dragons have not yet decided to return. The group heads off before night fall. The journey goes not very long before night falls and the group has to camp however with 4 additional eyes to take up watch shifts it doesn't take long to get through camping over night with out incident. The travel back through the woods and field don't take long Hantae and Keethan spot some other wild game and managed to successfully hunt killing some game birds the group has a nice meal of roasted game bird on sharpened sticks cooked over an open campfire. Granted the large Botang cannot get enough to eat.

You reach the road once more and head back to Northvale. The journey back goes fairly uneventfully to the point you all wonder how travelling merchants and vendors don't gone insane from sheer boredom of the travel when there are not things to fight or fend off on the road. You make camp two more times on the road in offsite camps very little traffic on the road aside from some of the local loggers and hunters, a merchant or two headed back North. You reach the logging village near Northvale they are all happy to see you all and tell tales of seeing two green dragons fly over head a few days ago.

After telling tales of the mansion and having found and seen those same dragons in person up close the loggers buy you all a round of drinks before you part ways and head to Northvale. You reach Northvale and find that things are going quite well they mention the same sight of the dragons, and again you tell the tale. After a short while you give over the deed to the leaders of Northvale and they give payment and allow you to keep or sell anything else you salvaged from the place. Later they inform you that a team of locals from Northvale and the logging village are going to head back to the mansion and restore it and the guard house to their former glories a group is going to begin to establish a hamlet in that area plans for a road to be build from there to the main road are also mentioned.

Please with your services they pay the group 25 gold to each of you. Taking what you wish to those that plan to become gladiators follow Belynor and his 3 companions off in a out of sight spot they use a scroll to open a portal to Thyatis. Each of you steps through the portal and after bright flashes you find yourself standing in another area of the world.
