I will absolutely be without internet Dec 1-9. I think all other business trips, offdays, etc I will at least have the ability to do a 5 minute check and post.

Nov 10-13 but should be able to squeeze at least one post in sometime that weekend.

* If engaged (or threatened to become engaged) in melee combat, how would your character react?
Cease with bow , draw daggers, throwing one, and then dodging manuever trying to keep melee combat out of range, or swing with the other dagger in hand
* What weapon(s) would they use?
thrown dagger, dagger, shortbow
* What would cause them to withdraw from combat?
close to half of our party dead or also withdrawing
* Same for any ranged combat situations (if applicable).
Magic Missile , then continue with shortbow
* If a spell caster, what are their go-to spells?
Enlarge (on allies) and Magic Missile

I'll be on vacation around the first week or so in October. Hopefully, the only difference you'll notice is a little bit of sand on the posts every now and again.

I could put you in touch with my brother. He has run adventures there the last few years and I'm sure he'll be doing it again this year. Me? My family situation really doesn't allow travel like that. Even going for a single day (which would be mostly spent making the trip) would be difficult, much less multiple days. As cool as it would be, I really can't justify it.

I am dealing with a family/neighbor "situation" which has required most of my attention today. Aside from work-related responsibilities, I've done little else today.

I hope to find some time tonight to answer some outstanding questions, approve some character sheet updates, etc... and formally kick things off, but the launch may have to be pushed back until tomorrow. My apologies!

Out Of Town Notice:

I will have very limited internet access this Saturday/Sunday. I will check the forums early morning and late evening the week of October 1 through October 5 and will have limited internet access again the following weekend. After that, things will return to abnormal.

My brother attends Gary Con every year; maybe one of these years I'll have to join him. Maybe once my kids are older?

Might seem unnecessary to report this, but I will be completely offline for the next several hours. I will update the game later this afternoon or early this evening.

It turns out this update was totally unnecessary. I'm back already.

I dont know, but he may be thinking like I was. If we do not do missiles, the fact that we were bracing for a charge was pretty much our move for round 1, rather than round 0.

That is exactly the action I am prepared to have Strom make if I don't hear otherwise.

I have been sick the last few days and will shortly be heading out on a work trip for a bit more then a week.
Sorry to be a pain in the butt but can Strom be NPC'd for that time?
