The Bulletin Board

In the center of town there is a board where notices are only 1cp to post.

Always include a time stamp for when your notice was posted. Use this to leave general messages, do planning across time stamps, taunt other parties, or whatever other creative uses you want to put it to.

Foxy O'Hare posts a 'Wanted' dead or alive poster on the Gaul town notice board. She pins it up with the pin going through one eye of the picture, then when no one is looking she softly wipes the face and plants a kiss on his cheek....

The current timestamp for town actions is 25 May 2021. I've adjusted your post above for accuracy. Both groups that returned were advanced to this date, which should be used for official actions.

All players - please remember to post the date with your note, and to use the current Town date from the Tavern thread.

Right. The 25th. I knew that. Must have been a typo...

It'll still work, I think.

These ancient creatures have troubled the creatures of the forest turning them into wicked hybrid monsters. We have the aid of a skilled Morlock linguist who has studied extensively the verbal and humming vocabulary of this deep dwelling race. A party is forming to explore their mines and to survey the territory they dwell in right beneath our feet. Untold wealth, riches and dangers lurk close by, all those skilled characters interest please contact Amistad at the Frogmortons ford forum, Axe and Lion Lumberyard.

SEEKING ADVENTURERS for an expedition to the Catacombs of Mystery. Previous explorers tell of skeletons, ghouls, messages written in forgotten languages, and woeful pantomimes.

Clerics and conversationalists particularly welcome.

Interested adventurers kindly inquire with Pendleton Kelletworth at the Golden Tooth Tavern.

Oyez! oyez!

Grimble Gromble, dwarvish warrior, desires to shew his martial prowess, to prove his stalwartness, in some venture or essay.

In especial he wishes to recruit fellow warriors to the tower of Guhra gobliness; but that failing, shall lend his arm to other ventures in the North Marches.

He asks only, that his employers bestow upon him an equal share of all treasures, particularly of the potable sort.

'Blackjack' Amistad of Lion Logging:

is seeking fellow brave adventurers who wish to carve their name in stone upon the hallowedPinnacleof the great north mountain and be the first men and demi-humans to conquer its' great heights.

Hybrid monsters, giants and trolls steadfastly guard the rocky foothills and dragons nest in the fang-toothed crags of the Pinnacle, within whose mighty granite depths portals remain to the netherworld.

Come ye hither then, you of brave and foolhardy heart to traverse this unspoilt wild frontier and join an epic Gaulish quest to lay claim to both fame and riches which this expedition will offer.

Orc minions dwell upon the lands in great tribal hordes, we shall venture forth then as emissaries willing to trade to gain unfettered access to ascend the clouded Pinnacle.

all interested parties please respond in person to Amistad, at the Lion Logging yard HQ, Frogmorton Ford. all replies answered.

Word from the ArchDuke of Gaul...
Posted June 10, 2021

Word spreads through the populace and is confirmed by heralds. The following formal notice is posted in the public square.

REWARD REWARD REWARD

By Order of ArchDuke Gaul

Brave Adventurers needed, Knights or Gentry alike, willing to face
the terrors of a red dragon which has taken interest in the populace
of Gaul and demanded the sacrifice of maidens from among our
number each new moon.

Reward offered for any willing to face the Dragon in its lair,
leading to the dragon's death or to the cessation of its threats
against the city and our fair populace. All those so brave
as to stand against such a foe and prevail will also
be considered for knighthood and land grants from the Throne. The
proprietor, Hyde, has offered the Tavern as the site for planning
discussions. Sir Albrecht will provide the location of the dragon's
lair to any who require it.

Gaul
