Out of The Gate into The Frying Pan
With a well stocked wagon and an elf girl named Milli driving, the party heads out the city gate headed east. Tis' a beautiful morning.
Some discussion about travel logistics should be had. The party must travel east to the mountain range. The Fortress of Woo is somewhere East of Castrum and Iugum -- up at about 1200 ft. From here all roads lead to Silva Sacer. Montego knows this town well. He worked there in the sacred preserve.
Unless the party decides otherwise I'll assume an eastern heading toward Silva Sacer.

The party looks behind and sees the Queen leading an elderly woman toward the party.
Regenia says, Aurspexa has something to tell you. She had a vision this morning.
The old lady's voice creaks, Merit knows your hope. From Narconia, 6 with noose tied rope. Two from the East, a captain from the guard, a mythological beast, a girl fighting hard. Tayne The Touched, syphilitic, Cousin to The Queen. Tomorrow, from Narconia, death's warm Spring.
Regenia explicates the old woman's vision:
She means to tell you that Merit knows I have hired you. His spies are everywhere. He will send a party to hunt you. They will leave from Narconia tomorrow. Among them, my evil and crazy cousin, Tayne. Tayne was kicked out of my court only months ago. He is a practitioner of both arcane and divine magics. He's not a nice man.
When I asked her about the beast, all she could say was that she saw a goat. They obviously employ a guard captain, a girl, and two Orientals.
Avoid them if you can.

Now, most of you have figured out the GM's conspiracy. There is a counter campaign to People Divided. There is a party of evil characters out hunting you. But they also have some other distractions to contend with.
Your friends are in this party: Grognardsw (as Tayne), Rukellian, PyroArrow, among them. They know where you want to go and what you want to do. But the map is big and like I said, they have "distractions".
The campaign is designed to create the potential for combat between the 2 parties. I hope you enjoy the subplot. I hope 1 or 2 of you are surprised, but I doubt it.

I would like to see an OCC discussion on what direction to head. The presence of an evil party might make ya'll take alternate routs.
