Troglodyte Cave: XP

#1 Post by Johnny Champion »

The party receives XP equally as much as possible. However, if a PC is not part of an encounter, he will NOT receive XP for the encounter or the treasure found.

Treasure can be divided based upon the group, just the XP generated from the treasure will not be given to that PC.

XP is given for:
  • Monsters Defeated
    Treasure (2gp = 1xp)
    Magic Items
    Quests Completed

Trog Cave Destruction and Saving of Linford

Type XP
Killed 18150
Gold 12550
Magic 11600
Quests 14000 Saving Linford, Breaking of Trog Stronghold
Total 56300

By Player:

PC
Doricin 8900
Tungsten 8900
Lumiere 8900
Mooki 8900
Kaleb 8900
Faelwen 8900
Rickul 3100

DM: Subsequent sessions I may not give the level of detail shown here. It is shown in this case to give you the importance of missions (quests) in terms of advancing in level. If there is a mission that was accomplished that I've not given credit let me know.

Divvying GPs:
Faelwen explains to Agnati (as well as the rest of the party) that the group had defeated several monsters and found a little gold prior to Agnati's release-- which explains the slight discrepancy in GPs. From here on out, should Agnati choose to remain with the party, he will earn an equal share.

Agnati receives 1,504 GPs. The rest of the party receives 1,841 GPs each.

"I would expect nothing less and would have graciously and respectfully declined an "equal" portion of profits from the party's adventure for that very reason. Thank you for the explanation, though. The gp will go to good use since there are no Elven shoe shows in Wyndam."

Do we stop at next level, or halfway into next level? Or 1xp from the 2nd level etc, because Kaleb would go up two levels.

It also makes it easier on the DM, not having to math everything out. lol

DM: You can go up 25% into the next level. So one can't increase two levels, but at least is moving closer to the next level.

Sounds good, this amount of xp is great enough to put them both there, so in the future I can keep an accurate number.
