Tip #??? Editions & Game Systems

Always remember what edition/version of the game you are playing in. Or better yet with different game systems on here remember not only the edition/version for the character and game but also remember the correct game system and edition/version.
Just an obvious tip but a valid one not sure if it has been posted here before or not but I recently did this in a game was acting like I was in one edition above what the game was. Guess there is a thing as too much gaming.
