012: Counterstrike In The Core

Once the PCs leave Ciencia and take the teleportal to Yamaguchi Starport. You will find Spicoli is there waiting to join you.
Present are Spicoli, William, Jaelah, Garvin, Arkar, and Roscoe. All the rest are staying with Ciencia to work on things Behind the Claw.
The ball and mission choice is in your hands. Begin.

Jaelah sits back in her chair after their meal, leaning comfortably against Roscoe while she takes in the holo map of the Imperium's core sectors hovering in the middle of the room. The map depicts space from the pocket universe coreward to Capitol, and the star systems trailward of the Claw.
"I presume we want to take the snake's head first?"

The editor lets you do a few things to help with readability. You can use the ooc tags to make text red and we know that is out of character. You can use the dialog tags to turn that blue. Even so, please wrap dialog wi double quotes.
I’ll change your post as an example.

The Star maps topic has several posts that will help orient you. Basically, the Emperor has been assassinated, and we have a huge advantage in much faster travel times in our response. Ciencia is the emporor's daughter; she was nearly killed in the attack, but she was able to use a portal to escape with her mother and some others from Capitol. The portal is presumed destroyed, so we will have to use our ships to return.

Garvin casts a jealous eye towards the "throne room" where Aster remains on duty then gives a sigh and then goes to the bar to pick a whiskey he hasn't tried before.
"Dulinor kills the Emperor - so we kill 'im right back? Sounds only fair". He grins at Jaelah and takes a belt of Scotch
"Besides - it's personal. There's this nice young kid I know an' some mad dog psycho went an' murdered 'er Dad - so I'm goin' to put 'im down. Bit o' clarity an' focus makes it easy, eh?"
"If we do this right then at least we might not 'ave to pull off the "big lie" job. I'm really not 'appy with that as the foundation of an open an' honest reign - are you? Mind you there's a lot I'm not 'appy with - like most of the Imperial nobility. Present company excepted o' course!"
Noting Spicoli's arrival Garvin gives him a cheerful smile
" 'Ullo Spicoli, old son! Looks like we're off to assassinate the Emperor. Seems fair enough to me - after all 'e started it!"

"Dulinor is allegedly the mastermind behind the assassination," Jaelah replies.
"Odds are that he didn't act alone, so it's likely that killing him won't excise the poison. I don't know that we want to take on the Imperial Moot, though."

William joins the others and helps himself to whatever whiskey Garvin has found. "Dulinor and as much of his immediate staff have to die without tipping our hand immediately. Their will be enough confusion to make the deed seem like a rival faction playing a deep game or an act of revenge by loyal INI. To further cut off the head of this particular snake we are going to kidnap my wife's good friend Isis who happens to be Dulinor's daughter and heir. We'll grab his wife and spread physical and IT chaos behind us. Dlan, Dulinor's capital is Tech Level 16 so we will need to bring our A game." He paused, threw back the whiskey and continued." Speed of travel and information superiority: we need to leverage and extend it as much as possible. That means we control the deep space Calibration Points in the Great Rift. We can keep news of the assassination traveling via Jump 6 courier under wraps until the normal X boat traffic and long legged commercial traffic brings it through Corridor. Lastly but not necessarily in this order, we need listening stations and maybe portals at Capital and maybe Vland."
