Now that I am gainfully employed and know how much free time I have, and since there is a lot of new players looking for a game, I was curious if anyone wanted to play Barrowmaze using Labyrinth Lord (a B/X D&D clone that free to download). If we get say, five players who want to play I will GM it. The rate of play would be 3 posts a week or so.

I'm definitely interested! 3 posts per week should be doable. Would you be using LL with AEC or without?

Isn't Barrowmaze a Megadungeon? Sounds like an ambitious project for PbP, which will take A LOT of time to finish...barring any TPKs.

Varg, it is a on the small side of a mega-dungion, but a lot of fun.

Could I please join? I have heard only praise of the Barrowmaze module and would love to experience it first hand as a player.

I'm quite familiar with AD&D 2nd edition (Running Ruins of Adventure in 2E for my home group), and have played a little bit of first, but never got to experience 'races as classes' D&D. Been wanting to give Labyrinth Lord a try. When things get bad, can we build barricades out of the broken bodies of previous pcs?

I would be very much interested in joining this game! If you will have me, I would probably roll for a cleric, maybe bring in the level 1 one that I already set up.

Well it looks like we have a set of players!!!

All that have posted will be offered a chance in the game.

I have requested a fourm and when Toni gets a chance to set it up, I will invite all of you and we can start rolling up the players.
