Looking for Players - Vanishing Isles of the Summer King (HYPERBOREA)[OPEN]

Isles of Maedsid, deep in the Hyperborean Sea, are surrounded by treacherous waves and clinging mists, a place of mystery since time immemorial. Over three centuries ago, the isles became the sacred home to a clandestine sect of sun-worshipping druids called the Awakening Dawn, but they have not been heard from for about forty years. Concern has grown amongst mainland druids, prompting calls for inquiry. Furthermore, speculators, treasure hunters, and curiosity seekers of all stripes are attracted by growing rumours of treasures undreamed and the possibility of unravelling peculiar mysteries.
Annwyn O’Mordha, a regal Keltic druidess of Gal City, has called forth many adventurers from across Hyperborea to assist her in unraveling these mysteries. Now, your party voyages to investigate the fate of the lost druids, but perhaps some things are best left unknown.

Setting: This adventure will take place in Hyperborea, primarily on the Isles of Maedsid, after a brief sea journey departing from Gal City.
Requirements: You will most likely want a copy of the Hyperborea Player's Manual for reference. We will be using 3rd edition, but earlier editions likely work too if that's what you have.
I intend for posting to happen on a daily basis - that means that after I post, I will give everyone at least 24 hours to post their actions before I advance the action to the next round/turn/watch/day (whatever the situation is at the time). Weekends I will give at least 72 hours between updates.
Character Creation: Players will use the 4D6 drop lowest and arrange attributes as desired (Method III in the Player's Manual).
As this is a 4th level adventure, all PCs will be given 12,000 XP to begin the game - this is enough to to start any character class at level 4, but some will be closer to leveling up to 5 than others (and in the case of the standard thief, you would start at level 5)
All players will start with 180 Gold - but it is recommended that you use this to buy whatever gear you need at character creation - shopping opportunities on the island will be quite rare. Encumbrance is not an issue at this stage, as you will be taking it all on a boat.
Extensive backstories are not required, but since you are all experienced adventurers, having some idea of what past exploits your character has had can add some interesting flavor to the adventure.

Gameplay:My style of GMing is very procedural - we will use dungeon turns, watches (3 hour length), and days as standard units of time. Occasionally we may "skip" over some time (especially during the initial ocean voyage) but I'll make this clear.
Combat will be rules as written, with the only exception being that I will determine initiative order (based on my own dice rolls) When you are in combat, you'll state your action and make all necessary rolls to complete that action.
At the beginning of each GM update, I'll let you know what time scales we're working with to let you know what amount of time you have to work with during your next action.
We will be tracking torches, rations, etc. I will let you know when to mark these down, but it's up to you to keep track of your inventory.
XP will be awarded on an ongoing basis - after each combat, upon receiving treasure, etc.
How to Apply: Just post here confirming that you would like to join. After I get at least 4 players, I will work on starting the game up, but it will be open recruitment with a maximum of 10.
