What’s sad is that from my searches this is the best RPG map of Japan. The new one for the latest edition of Land of the Rising Sun is pretty but doesn’t have the details. Really none of the maps have road and settlement details.

And this one is tilted to make Japan lie east to west instead of NE to SW.

Well, there is a catty-wumpus North arrow that keeps it correct. They just aligned the map to be most efficient use of paper.

I'm still holding out hope that someone has this GM screen and can either take a picture of the whole map, or do a single scan of the whole thing so we can have a one image map that isn't missing bits. I suppose I could image edit and fix the missing bits. It would also be nice to image edit to replace the symbols with colors or something to make an overall more readable map.

I also wish they had done more of Japan with map like in Valley of the Mists. The map in that of Hida province has some nice additional detail beyond the map posted.
