I think I'm going to bow out of this game. Nothing wrong with the game, it's just not my style.

No problem - My mother died last night and there seems to be a billion things to do (including a possible inquest). So a two week break sounds fine by me. Restart 1st September?

I'd kind of assume that although you are advancing, you are feinting attack, shouting loudly to draw attention to yourself, and actively parrying?

If so, a parry roll is required, please.

n.b. You can draw your axe and use that as a parrying weapon in your left hand next turn. Or you could use your spear two-handed, although you don't have practice at that per-se.

Jargian will use his hand aw for parrying as soon as he can. Not sure what skill is used for the first parry though.

Spear - 1 handed: 10% (base) + 5% (Parry Bonus) + 35% (Skill) = 50%
Thus a success. Not a critical.

n.b. An attack would be 10% (base) + 10% (Attack Bonus) + 35% (Skill) = 55%

And now for the next round! n.b. That tongue is going to be striking first each round.
