OOC Talk
Re: OOC Talk
At the moment I have 85 points of disads
Re: OOC Talk
Let me know what you think and/or if I screwed anything up (which is likely).
Re: OOC Talk
The only thing that jumps out at me is the Transport Familiarity. There's a significant difference between the sidekick rules and the main rules - they've changed the groups, they're more granular.
Re: OOC Talk
The two (8 pt) Combat Skill Levels can be used for OCV or DCV at will.
I would beg you to get some Running, currently you have a 6" run - get at least a 7" or a 9" so your half moves are 4" or 5" - It will make a huge difference.

Re: OOC Talk
You guys have inspired me to go seeking a few more disadvantages.
Re: OOC Talk
Good Luck with that. I only have the Sidekick rules so someone will have to help me adjust transportation stuff. I will look at Running and make some adjustments, I don't remember seeing anything about adjusting movement.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Re: OOC Talk
Another try at it. Thanks for the help everyone!
Re: OOC Talk
Got my disadvantages up to 85, had fun spending the points.

Re: OOC Talk
Just so everyone understands, the game has not officially started, so further changes are allowed. As soon as I post Turn 1, the game starts. Is that okay with everyone?
Re: OOC Talk
Fine with me.
Re: OOC Talk
Think I've found a pic:
Re: OOC Talk
So, if I'm interested in noticing two things, namely civilians in particular danger (like babies, kids, blah, blah) and also useful cover, is that one or two perception rolls?

Re: OOC Talk
I thought I should take this to the OCC thread, and should have posted it here in the first place.
It's just that the rules work in metres, and we'd have to keep converting to metres to work out things like movement and range modifiers, unless you plan to handle the latter.
When we roll attacks, do you want us to simply roll the dice and then state how we want to use things like skill levels (e.g. to offset range), and other skills we might be using like rapid fire, and you'll worry about the working out the end result?
Re: OOC Talk
I don't really mind converting from meters to yards or vice versa as I can do it in my head but for a game set in an urban environment I seriously doubt it maters any.
