During the return trip, Kurot effectuates self-repairs each day until his diagnostics report that he is at nominal operating efficiency.

I assume that with seven days of travel and Kurot down only 4 HP, I don't need to roll for number of HP healed, so here's a roll for the cost: Repair cost: [4d7] = 17

Bruce

Also takes advantage of the return trip to repair the damage sustained during the fight with the giant microbes.

1d4 2x/day
Self Repair [7d4] = 16
Self Repair [7d4] = 16 Total 32
Had to break it up into 2 groups due to #of dice limit

Denslow feels he's getting to understand this technology stuff better. He will see if he can obtain a rifle and training in its use from somewhere.

And he will need to get more dirt rations.

Bruce casts about town looking for a specialty product, even aproaching Syrus again if necessary. His goal? Any item, preferrably a weapon that can generate a high voltage electrical charge.

OOC: Do we still have that Stun Stick? Does it function in this way?

I'll determine what is available.

While looking around town for ammo, Silvestri will make enquiries to find out more about Motter.

If Motter is interested in machines and such he'll also look around for machine parts that Motter might find interesting

Hagalton; 338D/81

Silvestri’s inquiry about Motter leads him around Hagalton, finally ending at the Information Merchant Artic Zong.

Artic listens to Silvestri’s pitch, angling for information about Motter. “I’m not in business to divulge information for free,” She begins. “I can offer up this piece of common knowledge.”

Image

“There are several Nations inside the Zone vying for power; Motter, the Ki-Ro-Tab knights, the Beast Masters and the Barnakal nomads. The Ki-Ro-Tab knights come from inside the inner Zone. They ride giant beetles and fight with static lightning lances. Their arch enemy is Motter and her mechanical monsters. The Beast Masters reside to the south, never venturing north. The Barnakal Nomads wander everywhere but are rarely encountered.”

Artic returns to sorting several papers and then places a bronze cup on the counter in front of her. “Motter still dwells in the mind … somewhat. A twinkle in the periphery, brought forward by shiny contribution…” She slides it towards Silvestri without looking up from her work.

---

Denslow and those seeking ammunition visit the Arms and Armor Merchant, Po-Ellol

Image

Po charges 5sp each for reloading ammunition. He has a 25 rounds of Kaliber 7a ammunition available for 1gp each. This will work for the Pigmonn rifles and pistol.

"Plod Jakee might have some ammunition, but she charges 5gp each round."

Po offers Denslow a Pigmonn rifle for 350gp.

---

Sig’Sayg’Ryth, of Foodstuff Provisions, offers rations to Silvestri, Denslow and Bruce (Human, Plantient and Synthetic respectively) for 5sp per day.

Artic does not look up when Silvestri deposits the money into the bronze receptacle.

“In the interest of mutual respect, I’ll pretend I didn’t hear a mere five coins drop into my cup,” she says.

Image

OOC: The cup can hold 100 gp. Make a 1d20 Luck Check. If you roll Silvestri’s current Luck of 14 or below, you correctly predict the required amount of 50gp.

The sound of 45 additional coins settling into the cast metal cup produces a look of satisfaction on Artic’s face. She grabs the cup and spills the coins out on a surface behind the counter. Spreading the money with one hand, she smiles back at Silvestri.

“Come back late tomorrow morning,” she says. “I’ll have the information ready for presentation.”

Denslow listens to Po's offer for the Pigeon rifle. Too rich for my sap, says the plantient. I will have to rely on my branches and fruit for a while longer. Well, and my axe, he adds with a chortle.
