This will be a playthrough of my new module,
https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/32 ... e-Rescuers, using the Tiny Frontiers rules for interplanetary adventures.
So if you're interested by the following, please don't buy my module before you play it.
Something like an execution. A family abducted. You're in the midst of it. What do you do?
Why execute anyone, when anyone can be Reset?
"Requires" Tiny Frontiers: Revised.
Actually it just requires me to have a copy of the rules - character generation and action resolution are very simple, if you don't have the rules just tell me your concept and I'll float you a character for approval. In combat, you get two Actions per round and there's a 2d6 roll for initiative.

At the open, you are gathered in or near a government / residential space facility where a Reset is about to take place.
A Reset is the closest thing the heroes’ setting has to an
execution. No physical death is involved. However, during the
procedure the condemned individual’s personality is
electrochemically wiped or reset. Resetting, officially, is used in
cases where a person has been adjudicated incapable of
adjustment or unsafe to incarcerate and therefore not worth
the expense of ordinary rehabilitative custody. Unofficially, it’s
imposed on two categories of people: horrifying creeps and
political troublemakers. A person who has been reset is
rendered amnesiac and regressed to a toddler-like stage of
development. Subjects of resetting, usually called resetniks,
are assigned to care in special homes for several years. During
that time they recover something like adult emotional and
intellectual abilities, although most do not achieve the level of
functioning they had before reset. Being Reset releases a
person from all criminal and civil liability for their actions before
the procedure.
Please decide as a group whether you
support or
oppose the Reset that is about to take place.

If it’s a horrifying creep, I would support it.

Here's my character tibbius:
Anen Abassi (he/him)
Heritage: Human
Traits: Tough, Resolute, Vigilant, Outlaw
Hit Points: 8
Weapon Proficiency: Heavy Ranged
Weapon Mastered: Automatic rifle
Family Trade: Monks (or whatever the equilivent is in this universe. Anen did not follow in his family's footsteps.)
Belief: tba
Please decide as a group whether you support or oppose the Reset that is about to take place.
The character I had in mind for Anen would have strongly opposed resetting - but I'm curious about whether I should modify that based on whether the group should share a consensus opinion on the practice of resetting or if it is okay if characters have differing opinions.

There's two questions to answer: (1) which side is the group on; (2) what does your hero personally think? We'll answer (1) by majority, (2) individually. This could lead to some interesting interactions btwn group loyalty (which we will assume) and individual ethos.

Having given it some more thought, I don’t support the reset.
If it’s a horrifying creep, then s/he shouldn’t get the benefit of having everything forgiven.
If it’s a political troublemaker, I don’t think it’s appropriate at all.

ok. I'll request a game forum from the admins, and link to it in this thread once it's up.
