Will go to help the ballistae loading. "This could be fun. What munitions do we have?"

Can we just load it and then trigger it towards the oncoming hobgoblins?

Qleceec moves to some cover and readies her bow. Scanning the area for flankers.

boff grabs up his short bow and looks for some cover in the bluff where he was before.

Frannie trips to hobgoblin we’ve been questioning and puts a gag back in his mouth before running to help those working on the ballista.

Androgst curses. "Take cover now. Gag those murderers so they don't give us away!"

Garrant heads towards the closest cover.

Hex and Raffi take cover with the others, the gnome readying his wand and the halfling preparing his own Missile weapons.

The single arrow with blue smoke fired from the south off the map lands in the area of the Entangle as previously described. Boff moves to hide on the northern hill but heads very close to the landing spot of the arrow. Garrant moves to the closest cover the trees to the south of his previous position. Frannie puts the two masks back on (no gags), but does not have time to move. Siouxsie and Nah Olos are talking about the weight of the ballista and the half wagon and not worrying yet about the arrow. Raffi, Hex, Qleceec and Androgost are taking cover on the southern hill. The light rain continues to fall and the smell of blood is less but still present.

There is no immediate hostile action. Actions?

Qleceec will listen for any noises of someone/thing approaching.

Nah Olos will pivot the ballista toward the south, not the bluff but the land level with the trail.

The boys will continue to hide, climbing into trees if there are any around east enough to do so.

Another two minutes pass with the group ready for the horde to be coming over some hill. Nah Olos and Siouxsie are pointing the ballista toward the south, Boff is hiding in the northern hills. Hex and Raffi have moved back a few feet and climbed a tree. The two prisoner hobgoblins are trying to crawl away to the north in the mud, but bound they are now getting more than 10-15' per round. The rest of the group is hiding along the southern hill.

Boff reports that he hears voices still in the distance coming from the north.

Actions?

Nah Olos "The arrow came from the south, but voices are coming from the north. Which way do i point this thing?" As he looks around for input. "Your prisoners are making an escape."

Androgst clubs the two escaping murderers with the hilt of his sword to knock them out cold. With voices now being heard from the north he shakes his head, "We are sitting ducks down here while archers approach from both sides of these cliffs. We need to take the fight to them and surprise them. I say we all head south to take out those archers and then defend against what is likely a larger force north. What say you?"

Hex and Raffi both nod at the cavaliers words. Both are happy to stick together and follow his lead

"Agreed, lets do it."

She moves to the front and heads in the direction Androgst points.

Are the voices all hobgoblin? Not any stalking Sheltke or the dragon?

Point it north, towards a main force. Where is the most obvious place archers would stand?

The rain slows to a drizzle, perhaps something bright for the day.

Androgost runs a good 140' in the opposite direction that he calls for the team to rally to attempt to knockout the two crawling hobgoblins.

Qleceec gathers Hex and Raffi (and perhaps others) to head around the southern hill on the east side as Androgost has suggested.

Boff is still up hiding on the northern hill. When Siouxsie calls up to find out if it is Hobgoblin, Androgost is sure that is - given that he also hears them coming from the north of him.

Nah Olos and Siouxsie are trying to move the ballista to point to the north on the hill given that is the point they use before.

Garrant and Frannie need actions.

Garrant grabs his mace and moves to assist Androgost.

Qleceec continues to follow the plan.

Androgst continues to move and will signal Boff their intentions so he is aware of their plan. They will also be ready to drop a rope down the southern cliff face to those on the ballista should they need to make a quick escape.

At the top of the peak they also will keep close and quiet to ensure surprise is on their side for the unknown archers lingering near...
