Ribar, 2nd level cleric of Manifest. Alignment Lawful. http://orokos.com/roll/747782: 6#3d6 15 5 14 13 12 17 Pretty good stats! He's got http://orokos.com/roll/747783: 2d6 11 hp, standard adventuring gear (armor and weapons as desired).

His Knack is Divine Grace. He is proficient in Riding and Healing. As a cleric of Manifest he adds Sanctuary and Mending (LL AEC) to his list of available 1st level spells.

"Excellent, welcome aboard! I have a horse and some general adventuring gear you can have. If you need anything else we can go shopping". He looks at the others "I believe the group has agreed to give you use of an enchanted shield in our possession"

The magic-user regards Telemachus with a somewhat smug appearance. "I have, in my library, all of the commonly known spells from circles one to three. I have books containing more esoteric spells, as well; at least one or two of the ones you have in the damaged spellbook. I do not know you well enough to let you peruse my library, but would be willing to sell you a scroll or two containing the spells you desire. You could do what you will with the scroll; you may read and memorize the spells contained within, or cast the spells, thus discharging the magic. As to your other question, I am not aware of any such spells. It may be possible, but I have not encountered anything like it, save the lesser magics that some can use at will."
"I'm definitely interested in Magic Missile, and perhaps interested in Fly as well. How much would you charge for those? 1,000 gp per level of spell?"

Feargus

Before leaving town, Feargus checks in with Reker Nus on the identification of the spear and mask. He also purchases a pair of crowbars, a pack of iron spikes and a small hammer.

Learning that the group is staying in town for several days, he lets Mariusz take time off to do whatever. He speaks with Notai and encourages her to sell off her remaining items. If not, she can either decide to store them here with their factor or load them up with Mariusz on his horse, keeping her from being encumbered. He will attempt to rest to restore his HP, accepting any assistance from the others to speed up the healing.

During this time, he speaks with his new hireling. "Notai, as you have lived further north of here, do you know anything about the area we are heading into?" He will reference the map and point to the area above Alice. "Also, we encountered something unusual recently. We came across evidence of a different kind of people, a people who looked similar to the pigs humans now breed and raise. I think Telemachus said they were.... moychn? Know anything about them?"
Notai

"No, I'm not familiar with that area. I came south to the east of here. And I've never heard of mochyn, either. Sorry."

I am in favor of the monastery first but we might as well talk to a sage about the manticores while we're here in Rhea's Ford.

"We came here to travel north to find that monastery. It is good to think about finding more info on manticores if that is our next order of business after the monastery. Let's get any other info about what is north of here and then head that way. Quicker we clear the road and make contact, the quicker we can get paid."

Tolniel Fer, Factor
Rhea's Ford

Fer promises to do what he can regarding the research into the manticores. "I believe that both the Prince and his seneschal, a man called Barliam, will be too busy to speak to you. I have had dealings in the past with Barliam's Deputy, who is called Pord, and is generally a reasonable man. I can see if I can get you an appointment. It might not be until tomorrow, though."
