Ruk calls for everyone to clear away as he whips out his wand.

Jovan quickly moves and oralorn jogs away as he drinks his potion.

Letholdus however stands his ground and reaches down to pick up jovans sword.

Ruk issues the command and the wand grows brittle and turns to dust as the last of its magic is activated. Suddenly ruk seems to disappear as his clothes fall in a pile. after a little movement a 1 1/2 foot ruk emerges form the clothes pile. (diminish wand wielder)

.... did that just seriously happen? So, yeah, anyone want to pick me up and throw me as weapon? I might as well be useful in some way, even if it is just to be a freak distraction to buy someone another chance to hit the demon.

Ruken the Gnome's luck stone just ran out of luck. He stands around his pile of clothes and gasps as he realizes what just happened. He hides underneath the clothing pile, the only logical thing he can think of at the moment.

greg brabs the mace and swings but misses.

the demon shifts into a rat and begins to scurry away when letholdus crashes jovans sword down on it. The rat squeals and flops around as blod flows out. as it finally stops moving the rat transforms into a human woman.

Gregorius casts cure light wounds upon his fallen comrade,

He shouts, frustrated, "DOES THIS PLACE NEVER CEASE?!?? How much more evil must be slain before the gods will is shone here?!??"

I can take not hitting, but rolling a 1 on a heal spell? That's just something I won't acknowledge.

Ruken the gnome pokes his small head out of the clothing pile to see what is going on. "Is it dead!? Is it really safe to come out now?"

Joven tries to sit up and does so painfully wincing in pain he looks around "Glad you are alive Ruk we appear to have semi swapped roles here. Except you are not trying to save my skin." Joven starts to laugh but it is painful to do so. "Are we in the clear?"
