The group seems concerned, but not worried about the warm glow from the rock walls. In the end, they decide to continue on. Garrant talks about lighting a lantern, but the glow makes that not important yet.

Everyone agrees to push on and Nah Olos questions how the "giants" got so far ahead and if flying is enough to explain that.

After moving for a few minutes, temperature of the air continues to rise, getting to the high 80s (Fahrenheit). The 10' wide natural tunnel suddenly widens to a carved stairwell that is about 20' wide and heads down for 30' before coming to a carved landing of some kind. There is no more visible glow from the walls, but it continues to get warmer. Qleceec and Androgost are near the top of the stairs with the others behind them.

Qleceec

Qleceec summons her swords magical light and examines the area.

Hex

Hex moves to the stairs and inspects them for any unsafe stonework.

Boff dawns his lantern. "That help?"

With careful precision, Nah Olos steps forward, eyes keenly scanning the path for traps that might lay hidden in the shadows, his hands deftly probing the ground and walls. Beside him, Hex moves methodically, tapping the stone with practiced expertise to check for any structural weaknesses or illusory trickery that might deceive the group. Despite their diligent efforts, neither expert detects any sign of danger.

Meanwhile, Boff strikes a match and lights his lantern, its warm glow pushing back the encroaching darkness. Qleceec raises her enchanted blade, the sword's magical radiance casting shimmering light that dances along the ancient walls. Together with the light from Hex's magic coin, they ensure the path ahead is illuminated.

The X denotes the front of the group and there is only a ten foot wide natural tunnel behind the part of the map. The squares are ten feet.
The stairs lead down for about fifty feet and there is a landing of some kind and the tunnel turns. You can this far because Hex is at the front of the group at the moment. Actions?

Qleceec

When her turn comes she moves carefully down the stairs.

Whispering to Hex, "Looks like we finally found something of interest."

Boff nods agreeing with the 'found something interesting' statement and follows Qleceec down the stairs.

Hex

Hex continues to check the stonework down to the landing.

Garrant

Garrant will move with the main group as it moves down the stairs behind those checking for traps.

The stairs lead down for about fifty feet and there is a landing of some kind and the tunnel turns.

Nah Olos inches to the corner to peak around the edge before continuing on.

The group very carefully and slowly creeps down the stairs. Rounding two corners and two small landings and is on the third set of stairs checking carefully for traps, but so far not finding any. In the space ahead it is look more like a natural cavern with carved stairs as the ground continues to descend.

Hex almost simultaneously holds his hand up and then points to his ear that he hears something.

Qleceec

Qleceec readies herself as she strains to hear whatever Hex has heard.

Boff will attempt to sneak, hide in shadows and see what he can see and hear around the corner.

Androgost stands strong with his weapon - eager for battle versus sneaking and sliding.
