Sir Dewey suggests he enter the darkness first and the rest follow, unless Amos is already moving.
At this point ...

Isvand you can buzz the other group on the Elf-ear phonic and communicate to Sigrid that your Territorial Gains group have completed an area of searching and are moving through the archway with the permanent Darkness in it and that you hope to meet up with her team.

That Darkness area is in the very NW of this posted map so in a round or two the group will arrive in the Gargoyle Statue hallway.

Your two groups can consolidate as a whole and continue forward together. What I will do here is a brief summary of your current expedition in terms of xp and trove, which I will allocate to each person when you get to rest in a settlement location or the Guild Barrowmaze stronghold if the team rest overnight there.

Actions I will edit the summary here and then continue in a thread for the combined team.

Currently I have Sir Dewey, Amos, Cosmo, Isvand, Copperpiece, Gideon & Miners as a group. Do you wish to let the miners consolidate with those on guard in the Guild stronghold area, (the Barrow entrance and where your supply gear is stored), perhaps with Gideon too?

Expedition Summary

In short, you breach 'the Secluded Crypts' encountering a greater Crypt Thing and the Pit-Trap Tapestry. The Dark Knight was not challenged directly and disappeared with Gerdal, ported to a location unknown.

I can reward your experience award now prior to joining with the Where-Rats team and update my XP Record thread. Please update your sheets.

For ease, the total is four full character shares of +250xp and a Player participation award of +100xp, so add = +350xp to your sheets please (or 175xp if dual classed).

That reward is for the Sir Dewey group?

I haven't had time to read along with the other group's progress lately, so can someone explain to Amos what those circle and rectangle shaped things are in the room marked ZOMBIES, please?

yes, the total is just for the half morning spent in the crypts. (I gave out xp for the earlier expedition before this new day was started), so I added +350xp to SD, Amos, Cosmo & Isvand each.

Those are pillars and coffers signs. I will give a summary in the new thread.

Can I get a consensus on this action. I suggested that Gideon & the quartet of Miners consolidate with those on guard duty (Bucko, Gnim, Trey & Patra) in the Guild stronghold area, (the Barrow entrance and where your supply gear is stored).

This will reinforce those securing your area and the Miners can action basic stuff like using rubble to rebuild the breached walls in the Long Corridor area. You have two broken into crypts, one the 'Charnel' crypt of dead bodies and the ravenous zombie crypt where they were burned. A feature of the Barrowmaze seems to be that where piles of dead bodies are openly lumped together, they are feasted upon by rats and carrion critters who then themselves get tainted and mutate into larger Undead beasts. So some practicalities can keep your area safer in order to be able to rest there.

Plus they are five npcs and the other group already has six npcs with the Mongrelmen, and mooching with eleven is a bit much for me.

I am all for the miners and others reinforcing the guards at the guild area.

If they can make a few improvements while they are there......even better.
