At least with her high tech weapon Freya won't be getting a face full of ejected brass!
The military has failed to account for left handedness throughout the ages...

Prerna
Prerna's head jerks up from her sights as she barks into her team comm. "EASY! Sniper threat north! Take cover!" She evaluates her own cover against an attack from the north, and scoots back east if it's prudent. "Baker, take cover and check north for a sniper team!" She changes to the general channel. "Sniper threat to the north of the pool. We're looking for them now, but we could use some covering fire."

Frank leads Dog and Charlie to the SW (3 squares)
"Keep low, we need to support Freya and Freddie. Take out whatever targets present themselves."

Boss's movin'. Kingy, south door. Hold there an' give cover in case he needs ter fall back on you. Feel free ter ventilate any 'erbert pointin' a weapon at yer.
Jess is now the tactical reserve. She switches her RAM tube to HE and considers which side needs reinforcing. Kingy, he's on his Todd. She moves to support him.

Round 2
I believe that puts you all here...
Freya and Freddie are now coloured discs for clarity of positioning.
I
think I have everybody more or less right but Kit still has options. Choices are: north door with 'Arry and Mike or go south with Jess and King. The K on the map shows Pte King's position.
gurusql please choose where to post Kit
However, Prerna's squad have taken immediate cover in the "nearest available" (and "drama" demanded someone end up in the fountain...)
If joertexas can please confirm the above I'll roll on and add the bad guys!

ooc: Looks good to me. Franks team is a rather exposed to the sniper to the north (they're some rocks in the way - possibly), but what can he do, Freya & Freddie need some help or they'll quickly be overwhelmed

I don't think you're too badly off. At range the fountain is a man high dome of LOS blocking opacity as are the.. er ... "starfish trees" near the word FOUNTAIN. These will count as per the "tropical fir tree" understanding so block LOS too.
With their half move Frank's team have a snapshot each in hand.

Even allowing for some "dramatic licence" with my notional (arbitrary and random) tracking of Action Points I reckon you have a snapshot each owed even with the movement to cover.

Kit
I understood that Kit was starting at the same door as Frank (when he handed Kit the grenades - Southern Door on the eastern side).
Kit plans to be supporting and moving with Frank's unit, at this time along the eastern wall, crouched, until there is more room to move he will be in the first square into the grass (two squares south of the K on the map).
Forget the Baron's rules and he has no cameras to see me walking on the grass.

Does that snap shot ruling apply to Kit as well? (e.g. should I do a roll) (There is perhaps (at your ruling) a thin line to see across the park in the northern part of the square Kit is in.)

That's grand thank you!
Now I shall add the bad guys...
I'll calculate their combat results then deal with any outstanding fire/actions from the PCs but the events will be simultaneous.
And the Baron doesn't
need cameras because he
knows...

Yes it will!
By all means make the roll.
However, since the other side have yet to move a better target / greater priority may emerge once they have done so.

Round 2: Firefight!

- Pool Round 2 Firefight!.jpg (121.23 KiB) Viewed 325 times
Legend: as is but those with "bloodspots" next to them have been hit. See posts below for further reference.
The insurgents surge forward into the park but are surprised to encounter fresh enemy and their reaction is uncoordinated.
The southern group opposite Frank fragments. Some drive forwards and leap into the stream bed while some of their comrades rush northwards. Another group engage Freya with one drawing his falx and charging Freddie.
The northern group also fragments. One dives forwards into cover behind a rock while the others head north or duck into the cover of the central trees.
They then all open fire shooting unaimed bursts at the mercenaries.

Prerna
Prerna sees the world and his wife open up on the recon team as she propels them into cover. The fountain's curtain of water kicks and writhes as rounds batter it spraying water in their wake. She notes one enemy (White 3) fire a burst at her but it goes wide. Easy surfaces after her dip in the fountain and, as an HE round squibs against her thigh, she wordlessly shoulders her suppressed ACR which coughs a burst in reply. Her target drops like a sack of wet laundry. Baker calls “Sniper! My half left, half value target. On!” as his own weapon fires he immediately grunts and goes quiet.
