A Vrusk dressed in a tan vest comes into the view and looks towards the group. After a moment, she nods and moves purposefully towards the others, rather quickly others note. Those familiar with Vrusks notice that she is taller than most, standing at 1.65 meters, but not as bulky. With a blue-green carapace, she appears to be young for her race. Those not familiar with Vrusks see what appears to be a large insect humanoid with 8 legs, an upright torso with two arms, and a head that looks rather ant-like.
Once within a few meters, she hails the group. "Hello," she says in Pan-Galactic that is heavily accented with clicks and buzzes. "It's nice to meet you all. I'm Daz, the computer specialist." Though her speech sounds a bit odd with the clicks and buzzes, it is well enunciated and her tone is friendly.

Rick opens the door of the hovertruck for her and says, "welcome. We be heading out to do some investigating so be hopping in and we can be filling you in as we go. We be needing someone with computer know how. Oh, and I be Storyck but everyone be calling me Rick."
Rick is a large human not long out of primary school. He is dressed in country boy fashion but has a gyrojet pistol on his belt that the observant will note that he probably acquired recently and is not fully acclimated to carrying it and acting like it is a natural accessory. After letting Dazzle inside, he moves back to the heavy laser and keeps watch for external threats.
OOC: And Dazzle will also note the presences of some wounded prisoners tied up inside the truck.

Daz nods in response to Rick and enters the vehicle. She glances back at the prisoners, pauses for a second giving no other reaction, then continues to board. She listens politely to each intro giving them her full attention.

Garrett gets in the front and directs T'prin to the nearest house, which is Chressler's place. It takes a minute to get there and when you arrive, you see that the front door is open. You cannot tell if there are lights on inside as the early dawn is interfering with that. When the hover truck stops, Garrett looks perplexed and looks back at the group, "Well, how do you want to handle this? I am not a tactical person, but if I can help, let me know."

Rick frowns as he looks at the open door and then scans the area, particularly any nearby windows or doors where someone might be watching.
"I be checking it out," Rick says as he exits the truck. He moves quickly towards the side of the door scanning for any hint of trouble and listening as well.

When he meets the Vrusk for the first time, what she sees is a tall, thin human with dark hair and slightly sallow skin dressed in typical civilian clothes (a skeinsuit) over which is a dirty anorak that has a few tears in it from a recent grenade attack. Under the scorching is a bit of blue grey lithium paste. Under the anorak, open at the front, portions of grenades are visible.
“H. Lloyd Niles,” he offered in a slightly raspy voice. “Call me Lloyd. Robots are my specialty.”
He rides with the others to the residence blocks, having a bad feeling about this.

I'll pull my sword, and step out of the vehicle. T'prin will approach the door cautiously, and take up position to the other side of rick trying to use the door frame for cover.

Rick, you quickly scan the interior, but see no movement. You do hear voices coming from the back of the home talking in loud whispers;
Voice #1 "We gotta get our stuff and clear out fast. Them do-gooders could be on their way here already!"
Voice #2 "Yeah, yeah. Keep your balls pulled in! I am just about done. Ballick, go check the front door and keep watch!"

Rick, at that point, you hear steps moving in your direction.

Rick will wait until it sounds like the approaching footsteps are just inside the door and then quickly step in and attack, he will sweep low with a leg kick and then a jab.
