Kit lowers his arms to a normal position and says "Yes, as of a few minutes ago. and then begins typing on the hand computer. After a moment, he looks up and says "Sarn't Major - I see you on list. Thank you for the hard work your company is doing. Can I request that your guards lower their weapons and I will pick up sidearm?"

Once the guard begin to lower their weapons Kit bends down to pick up his weapon and places in a side holster. When he does that you can see that he has a smaller snub pistol in a shoulder holster.

"Just so I can check off all the boxes, I would request to talk to the Colonel or his selected proxy to understand a few security breaches and if they were performed by your team or the insurgents. This is not an exercise in blame at this time simply figuring out which alarms I can ignore. And I would request an escort either to the Colonel or if he is "unable" to answer my questions through your area so that I would not have go through this exercise again."

Frank receives a further boosted transmission from Captain Cabral “Colonel, I'm afraid I had my doubts and they were sadly confirmed - our fighter escort has bugged out. Inbound fighters are now entering Inchin orbit followed by the armoured merchantman. I have further contacts closing to orbit from the bigger trader. I will maintain my position for as long as I may”.

He flips over to a channel to Dubbs: "Dubbs. Have you had any luck contacting Sargent Dawson?"

Frank nods at Jess "Thank-you Sargent-Major" he then switches to the officers channel "Good work resolving the hanger issue so quickly. We need to get Love to med-bay and secure the prisoners, the briefing room is likely suitable for that. Make it clear to them that if they attack any of our people or try to escape then they will be shot. Then we need a squad to head into to the guards area to locate and assist Sargent Dawson, I'll be joining the squad too. I suppose we ought to check for survivors of that crash"

He then turns to Major Ghoshal "Apologies Major, I'm sure you can understand there is a lot going on at the moment. How can I help? I don't know if you are aware but there is an armoured merchant ship and associated fighters entering orbit of the planet, and a larger trader not far behind"

Thank you for your time Colonel, I am not aware of some of the exterior threats, but I was focused on the attacks still active inside this compound - am on my way to check on the Guard that is still out of communication as of five minutes ago was still in an active combat situation. Just so I can check off the boxes did any of the members of your unit hack either (1) the doors in the eastern stairwell or (2) the lift on the eastern side of the park or (3) or force open the water supply to the compound? At this time I am not looking for blame, I am looking for containment.

While giving the Colonel a moment to reply, Kit looks down looks to see a current status of the guard side on his hand computer.

Duran and the twins are corralled in the officers lounge with the other VIPS who are "decompressing" after their trying night of disturbed sleep. The twins are both difficult to miss and something of a distraction to the common soldiery as they seem to have somehow managed to end up with tailored vac suits that are one size too small...

I can now check off the eastern stairway as the entrance point and since the lift was only between levels, that leads me to the obvious question. When your forces engaged the insurgents were they wet? If they were then the water supply may be the insurgents entrance vector. Two more requests. First, as soon as it makes sense can you please send me a list of the non-combatants that you have under your protection currently - we are trying to understand if anyone is missing. Second, can you please let you team know that I will be walking through your space and drawing my weapon when I exit your protection. I need to check-in with the Guard as they have no comms as of five minutes ago and as of my last report they were still in active combat."

Kit stands at ease and waits for the Colonel's reply and dismissal.
