Garett looks astonished. "So, you are saying that pirates infiltrated my mining operation to take titanium and have it shipped off for some unknown reason? Well, it is safer than trying to steal it from shipping lanes. So, my question to you is, what do you want to do from here? You fulfilled my part of the job and figured out what was going on, but, do you want to just be done with this, or do you want to pursue this further and see what is going on down with the titanium?"

[MajorTom]

Rick looks very interested at Mr. Garret's offer. "I be interested in looking into this further," he volunteers.

[Teflon]

Tprin says he would love to continue to irritate the pirates.

Garrett smiles at the group, "I love how you people think! Okay, so, where do you want to go from here? I would like to at least know where my associates are headed to. By the way, you guys did so well with this mission, I would like you to keep the firearms I got for you as part of your payment."

[Teflon]

I'm thinking maybe we head to where the titanium was sent and see what they are building, i'm bettting warship of some kind

[MajorTom]

Rick waits for Lloyd to provide his own updates and insights and then, in a manner where the prisoners can't hear, will relate the story the prisoners told about local law enforcement being corrupt. He will also play back part of the recording of the pirates and ask Mr. Garret if he recognizes the language they are speaking.

In the end, he will want to hear Mr. Garret's thoughts on what to do with the prisoners.

Garrett listens to the recording. "I must say, I have never heard this language before. Not Pan-Galactic. Maybe a language the pirates use to communicate between themselves. We may want to forward this to the proper authorities and see what they say."

WELL according to our guests here, they have local cops in their pockets, we were still trying to figure out an alternative

Garrett gets a shocked look on his face. "Is there any way to prove what they have claimed?"

[MajorTom]

Rick replies to Mr. Garret, "If there being someone here at this mining outpost that you can be trusting, maybe we can be talking to them about this whole thing."

“Or we take them off world on the next shuttle and give them to Star Law (or the UFPFBI) on our way to check out their contact...”. He shrugged, “we can get them out on one of your ore ships... nice and casual.”

Garrett nods, "Let me check to see when my next run is going to happen. By the way, I ran into an out of work computer specialist that might be of assistance to you in your further investigations. She is a Vrusk and I told her about your troubles so far and she seems eager to help. I will call her over."

[MajorTom]

Rick replies, "We can definitely be using a computer specialist. When do we be meeting her?"

Rick is actually a bit more nervous then he is letting on. He has never met a Vrusk before and wonders what they are like.

" most welcome, I look forward to meeting her, maybe she can teach me a bit about programming, would be very helpful when i begin my bot building."

Garrett looks around and says, " She should be here any moment. I called her after you called me."

Rick says, "I be liking this idea. Best answer whether they be lying or telling the truth about local cops."

Garrett looks around at the group before speaking, "Okay, you say that these pirates were wearing some kind of holo belts to deceive everyone as to their identity? So, were the people they were impersonating real or not?"

[Teflon]

That is a good question, but i don't think we will be able to get an answer to that on this planet.

[MajorTom]

Rick is at a loss for how they might find out the identities of the pirates or those they were impersonating but wonders if the new computer specialist, when she shows up, might be able to do some computer wizardry to find out more.

Garrett steps forward, "Look, I have the physical addresses of the workers they were impersonating. Can we go check them out?"
