The druid lifts the statue of Ymir over her head and hollers. "STOP! OR I SMASH IT!"
She shouts this three times - in Common, in Druid, and in Kelt.

Taibhse heads toward Ceana, avoiding the bones if they are still active.

Sik will finish off his enemy.

No Idea On Time Of Day

After a few members whiff away at target practice, the last moving dwarf is ganged up on and killed viciously by the remainder of the group.

Ceana demands the magically held enemy stop before she smashes the jade statue, and it works perfectly, as the creature doesn't move a muscle.

As the stinking and filthy chamber settles, the noise of battle abates, bringing an eerie silence to the room that is almost as unsettling as the battle itself was.

Sik shouts in triumph as the dwarfs are either slain or subdued. But he pauses for a moment.

"During the fight I think I saw a couple escape down the left hallway. We should investigate before we let our guard down," Sik says to the group.

He then turns to the living dwarf. "Belloc, tell the dwarf that if his friends don't surrender they're going to lose a lot more than their statue."

Akhilleus cleans his sword blade on the clothes of a dwarf and then mounts guard at the entrance of the hallway where some of them left.

I don't remember some of them leaving, but I'm gonna believe you

I don't know if it was mentioned but I see some red Xs in the corner of the map... we'll see if its intentional or not

Sik will also approach the fork where the two hallways meet, keeping his eye on the right hand tunnel to watch for an ambush.

Drest

Looking over the held dwarf, "How long does this magic last? Maybe we should just cut his throat now."

Cyril nudges one of the bodies with his foot and then continues over to the held dwarf."This did not have to happen. I am willing to listen to anybody's advice for how we could have handled that better. Regardless, we should at least attempt to return to our questions - we would like directions to the gem and any knowledge of hazards on the journey. If this chap will play along, I'm still willing to let him go and give up the grub."

"I might suggest not capping off a successful negotiation by transforming your visage into whatever the hell that was," Sik calls back sardonically.

Ceana

The druid places the statue back on its pedestal, giving the "held" Dwarf a nod, and then begins a search of the area...just to make sure there are no more surprises. She looks for anything that might indicate a secret door or concealed passage. She also looks for evidence that this area is more than just a place to hold a statue. "Maybe this is where they worship?" she offers as she ventures along.

Kainaxarthos

Kain simply shakes his head at Cyril's post-mortem request and instead busies himself with the unpleasant task of rifling through the bodies.

He moves to the held dwarf first and ties him up. Assuming the dwarf isn't dead by then.

Drest

"Everyone of these things has attacked us first. Although in this case we were trying to talk until you messed it up and instigated their attack."

Xenos just shakes his head and guards the entrance from the river while the others deal with the prisoner.

Belloc restrains his frustration at the unexpected turn of events. He takes a moment to staunch his bleeding before addressing the group.

"Firstly, let's secure the prisoner. If anyone has shackles or rope, it would be useful. But more importantly, we need to appoint a leader—someone we all trust to speak for us and take the lead. We can hash out our agreements and arguments before or after we are in front of potential enemies or allies.

I don't want to be caught off guard again, blindsided by creative ideas with no warning or opportunity to discuss them.

"From the time I have spent with her I think Ceana would be a good choice. But, Akhilleus has earned my loyalty and I owe him my life on multiple counts now. So I will stand with Akhilleus."
