OOC Chat III
Re: OOC Chat III
Not at all, I hope you had fun!

Re: OOC Chat III
I'll post an update tonight.
Re: OOC Chat III
Urson, I rolled for Belial so I could resolve Round 2
Re: OOC Chat III
does Silvestri have a clear enough chose for no 6?
could he move to the left to improve his shot?
could he move to the left to improve his shot?
Re: OOC Chat III
Yes, he may move left to get a clear rifle shot. However, since it is engaged in melee, if Silvestri misses there is a 50% chance he will hit a friendly.shaidar wrote:does Silvestri have a clear enough chose for no 6?

Re: OOC Chat III
I guess he will have to wait for a safer shot
Re: OOC Chat III
Could I roll init and attack and have Silvestri hold his action until he gets a better target, either from the tube, or the corridor?
Alternatively, how many squares that he move and still use a power?

Re: OOC Chat III
Yes, you may.shaidar wrote:Could I roll init and attack and have Silvestri hold his action until he gets a better target, either from the tube, or the corridor?
3 squares (15ft). He may move 6 squares (30ft) if he makes a double movement with no actions.Alternatively, how many squares that he move and still use a power?
Re: OOC Chat III
thanks, I'll post my action a little later

Re: OOC Chat III
so, if i change my action, could I move and attack ,(,or move twice), or have i lost an action by waiting?
how safe would a shot at #7 be?

Re: OOC Chat III
You have not lost an action by waiting. You may move & attack or move twice.shaidar wrote:so, if i change my action, could I move and attack ,(,or move twice), or have i lost an action by waiting?

#7 is engaged in melee. If you miss, there is a 50% chance to hit a friendly. NEW RULE, with a firearm (having a higher velocity than an arrow or crossbow bolt), the chance to hit a friendly is reduced to 25% if the attack roll is a miss.
Re: OOC Chat III
Cool
Silvestri will attack #7. (Looking at the map there appears to be no clear shot to #6, which would have been his preference).
Can I use the unused roll I made when I said I was going to wait for a target or do you want me to roll again?

Re: OOC Chat III
The unused roll may be your action.
Re: OOC Chat III
cool, thanks.
Re: OOC Chat III
I know this current situation appears dire, but think and talk it through as a group.
---
Many of you have mutation powers that would provide aid with a roll of 20 or higher. Luck points may need to be spent/sacrificed to achieve this. Glowburn might also be required.
---
Just a reminder that Denslow regenerates Luck the quickest and benefits the most from points spent (2 points added to a roll for every one spent). Furthermore, Plantients can donate their luck to others.
Another reminder for Luck and Glowburn: They may only be used to affect the character rolls; not an adversary's rolls. i.e., Blixx could not have used Luck to avoid the Critical Hit and damage inflicted by the wild-haired man.

- Luck can be burned before OR after a roll.
Glowburn (for mutants, manimals and plantients) using physical points (STR, AGL, STA) must be declared BEFORE the roll.

Re: OOC Chat III
I did have a serious think about Pyrokinesis, but the higher rolls which affect more than one target have a radius of at least 20' radius, which us 4 squares on the map, and I thought that would be dangerous and would effect other PCs.
Re: OOC Chat III
Kurot probably should have tried to flashy-eye the bugs before leaving the end of the hallway. Oh well.
But bottling up the entry hall should probably be a priority. We need to stop the bugs from swarming into the room.
As for how we do that...any ideas?

Re: OOC Chat III
You would need to center the strike beyond the targets, so they are just at the edge of the area of effect.shaidar wrote:I did have a serious think about Pyrokinesis, but the higher rolls which affect more than one target have a radius of at least 20' radius, which us 4 squares on the map, and I thought that would be dangerous and would effect other PCs.
Re: OOC Chat III

Up to know I've been reading that as a radius effect around the caster, not from a distant target.
DOH!
