Mac
"Ah. There we are." Mac grabs his pole and thrusts it at the hovering half-elf.
"Quick! Grab it and hold on tight!"
Mac calls out for someone to help.
"I'm not sure I can handle this long pole by myself. I need more hands on it!"

Zefarrel's hands are full of wet cloak. Grossphil, hold onto me, so I can grab the pole! As soon as he does so, she grabs the offered pole.
Once ashore she is happily lets go of the pathetic soggy elf who looks even more skeletal with his garments clinging to him. She gives a quick prayer of thanks to Frey for bringing together such brave companions that would risk their lives for the others.

Grossphil the Feeble
Grossphil gasps for breath as he and Zeffarel finally reach the island. He takes a few minutes to regain his composure before he says
Thank you cleric of Frey. And thank all of you for helping me, there's no way I could've battled the ocean alone. I promise I will pay my debt to all of you by aiding in the exploration and conquest of this fabled island. With our combination of brave warriors, a wise cleric, expert scouts and witty wizards, nothing can stop us in our noble goal!
Grossphil feels fairly proud of himself for that little speech and he does mean every word of it. Even if some of the others may be carrying deadly pathogens.

Mac
"Glad to have you along. I always hear tales of wizards questing together, possibly learning from each other. I look forward to the opportunity."

The soggy adventurers drag themselves out of the water and climb up the rocky shoreline to the relative safety of higher ground. The rain and wind continues to beat down on them, making their already soaked forms even wetter, and colder. They take a quick inventory of themselves and their gear and are glad to see that all of the people and most of the gear made it to the island.
As you stare out over the raging sea, you are horrified to learn that the ship that brought you all the way out here is no longer there. You think you spot the very edge of the upturned rudder slowly dip below the horizon in the waning sunlight. All you see out there now is rain, lightning, and crashing waves. The feeling of dread and udder helplessness washes over each of you as, one by one, you realize that you are all now officially lost at sea.
From the wind blown sky, a single piece of rain soaked parchment flies in out of nowhere and hits Grossphil right in his face, nearly knocking him to the ground in the process.

Haha!
That's the same roll as Grossphil. He gets the page and you find the door.
