How are we set for light sources? Will we be able to stay here overnight and be able to see?

We have a lot of torches, and at least a few candles.

Throw some pews on the burning fire of tapestries.

And some of us look good in the dark.
I mean can see well enough in the dark...

I guess we do have firewood, though we might smoke ourselves out with a big fire and no chimney.

Angus wouldn't have any opinions on Arnulf's spell selection, but OOC: It might be useful to have a non-sleep spell in case we run up against something with more than 4+1 HD. Light cast on an enemy's eyes would be a decent fallback option maybe. Or maybe I'm just biased by how useful it would have been recently.

ok. One sleep spell, one light spell. I agree, it would have been very handy!

Tomorrow's the big day, gonna get a new knee installed, so I'll be MIA for a few days. Please NPC Hyde as needed, but try not to kill him off unless he's saving the party!

That means lots of recuperation time with a good excuse to sit around and play RPGs, right?
Good luck!

Assuming we're heading back to town now, we could use Angus and Hellebore as tax shelters again. Angus is probably going off into the woods to train and I'd expect Hellebore won't be going into town either. Since they aren't going into town, anything they're carrying won't be taxed.

Woot!
I'm guessing we sell:
4 silver armlets (worth ~300 gp)
Is that total, or per amulet?
4 pieces of amber (about 100 gp each)
4 black pearls (a few dozen gp each)
Or we hold this as easily-held currency
ceremonial dagger (worth about 100 gp)
ebony statue of Agthaz (worth several hundred gp)
Angus's banded mail, barely used (probably ~45 gp)
Angus already wears the chain mail. I assume no one else wants it? If Yenny wants him or Hellobore to hold on to the war hammer so it's not taxed, that's probably the only other item we wouldn't want to take into the city.
Angus will wander off for training, but it would be handy if someone could pop back out of town to give him his post-sale share of the loot (if any, once the chain mail is accounted for) so he can pay for training.

To reply here too: Yenny can't really use the +1 hammer, and so would happily leave it outside to be not taxed. She would like an armlet or two as part of her share if the numbers work out. She did offer to bring something to Angus and Hellebore, and it could certainly be gold.
