12500 total XP. There are a total of six PCs, each receiving 4 shares of treasure, plus two henchmen, each receiving one share of treasure, for a total of 28 shares. Bruno and Severi each receive 446 XP, before modifications. Each PC receives 1786 XP, prior to modifications.
Awesome!
Can I get a hit point roll for Rhys' level 5, Mr. DM?
1d6=2
Ahhhh... Less than stellar roll, but it can't be helped, I suppose.
Rhys bumped his balance up one for his skill.

All looks good....
I'm guessing that we're nearly done in town and that it'll be time to move on? Which hook are we picking up?

For his 5th level skill bump, I'll take Navigation.
1d8=4, without any Con bonus/penalty.

At gym, rolled a 4 on my phone, unmodified.

Severi deposits 1kgp, turns 550 of it into 5x100gp gems, and spends the remaining 200+ on equipment that I may or may not have forgotten to pay for, high living, and spell scribing components.

Yeah...we're going to need some crazy-good scores for me to hit fifth. That XP curve is a hard takeoff.

TK, does the generous 1000 XP bonus award for the mass combat encompass the XP for the mass combat related treasure, or should we be adding that in, as well?
(600 sp, 200 + 900 gp, thirty ivory figurines (300 gp), dire weasel pelts (500 gp) = 1960 gp, divided into 280 gp for PCs, 140 gp for Semele and Bruno)

Just checking in. As to the questions upthread:
-Quint will accept the knighthood.
-No need to RP the ceremony.
-Sell the magic items here if we can.
-Wrap upthe ur-orc nest, then accept the Barons commission.
Now, let me ask you guys a question. Honest answers. You move this game along at a realky quick pace. Truthfully, faster than I can comfortably keep up with. While I am enjoying it and appreciate being asked to play, I'm not sure I'm the best fit for your group. I don't want to be the guy that's always holding things up or being puppeted, so given that this might be a good place for Quint to bow out, how do you feel about that idea? I'm glad to carry on if you're all ok with my level of involvement, but will bow out for the good of the game.

I think you're mostly alright.

Ok, bit late but get some answers in:
1. Thurgan will accept the knighthood
4. Yes, go after the orc creatures first then the baron's mission.

I don't think I've ever felt that you slow the game down any, Reese. That said, the most important thing for you to base your decision on is whether or not you're having fun. If you are having a good amount of fun, then I'm sure we can figure something out.

On a side note, I've been reading a really enjoyable Actual Play report on the ACKS messageboard (
The Maze du Chatel). Of note recently is L3/L4 characters taking on a group of hill giants and an ogre village.
Edit: OK, I just spent a whole day finishing that off, and it's easily the most epic and best Actual Play I've ever read. It's thee threads long, though, so be prepared.

No, the flat award did not take treasure into account. In addition to my math error, I did forget to add in the treasure from the goblin camps. Total treasure award is 12,500 for the items, plus 1960 for the loot, for a total of 14,460.00:
556 XP per henchdude
2,225 per PC
Again, without applying any XP modifier.

Thanks for the XP/gold adjustment. We've almost gotten Thurgan to L5 as well, it appears!
