The hero who spoke of the raid turns to face Raven. He looks the man up and down as he sees a sword sticking out of a trenchcoat and a sniping rifle strapped upon his back. A perplexed look spreads across his face as he slowly answers Raven: "I've never seen you before, or heard of a man who looks like you. Why should I point a nobody to some raid that isn't supposed to even exist. I could lose my head if anyone else interferes in it! You understand? Beat it."

This is Raven's repute level at work here. In Atlas City, along with most of his other groupmates, he is considered a nobody, a greeny, a super that has yet to earn his stripes and cape.

Raven stares blankly at the man as he speaks. After the man is done he stares for a bit more before nodding and turning around, walking out the exit to go back to the hotel.

S.C.A.M.P. listens in to hear whether the man might be thinking of the location.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Will just loaf around until the others get back or unless the Professor has something that needs done.

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Would go with the others to find recruits.

The group convenes once more at the hotel booked by the Professor and Permafrost. When the Professor and Max returns to the hotel room, they already find Raven and Scamp relaxing and watching television. For some reason, SCAMP is the one flipping through the channels, mashing the buttons on the remote control with his paws. Raven turns his head and looks at SCAMP, then towards the two at the door and says in his unchanging face and voice, "It is the only way."

The channel that is playing right now happens to be one of the local news channels, this time covering news in the Industrial Sector of the city. Reports of a hijacked relief convoy and the massacre of ASF officers and heroes makes the front headlines. Reporters are on the scene as the camera pans over to some blurred piles on the ground. Subtitled names are underneath each pile, identifiying who each pile once was. The news coverage then breaks into commercial, featuring a flashy cartoon advertising Chocolo Sweets and its brand of candies and chocolates.

Permafrost, Steve and Cortez returns from their recruiting session and goes over the details of their success. "We've only just posted the request on the main terminal and we've already recieved eight volunteers. Once we are ready to take out the bandits and restore my country's trade routes, I think it will be safe to say that we will have the numbers. Any luck on your end Raven?" Permafrost enquires.

Raven looks back at Elsa, his expression never changing, "We got arrested and I gave blood." After stating that he just looks at her, waiting for a response.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Says to Raven,

"Arrested, Ha! What the hell for, dude?"

Raven brings his attention to Maximillian, he states simply after taking a moment to think, "I'm not good with machines..."

S.C.A.M.P., specially reinforced against people like Raven, pauses between channels to bark his agreement.

"You what? ... no, I don't want to know. Since I didn't see your arrest on the terminal, I guess all is good at the moment." Permafrost plops down on the couch and looks up towards the Professor and Max with enquiring eyes. "You guys were tending to an errand of your own, did you learn anything useful during that time?"

It would seem as if Permafrost has gotten used to Raven's quirky behavior and even the results of his actions because of it.

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Says to PermaFrost,

"You will have to ask the Professor about that, as it was all, 'Let's all sing like the Birdies sing, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet, tweet."

"However, bottom line is the pigeons are helping us."

The Professor: "The avian life of this city is aware of the looming threat, even if the homo sapiens are not. They have confirmed that our intended target is indeed the sight of ichnorite-based activity, and warn us of the power and danger therein. Time, it seems, is of the essence. We should try to neutralize this threat quickly and diligently. Any thoughts on the best approach? Infiltration? Frontal assault?

"Elsa, you seem a dab hand with the terminals. Could you see if there are any public records relating to the layout of the Rook facility?"

Steve Sanderson [Flicker]:

Says,

"We could use Raven to screw up their security cams, just long enough to get in."

The Professor nods to Steve. "Excellent, yes. Raven, how reliable is your... condition?"

Raven looks at Elsa sitting next to him, then to each of the members of the group as they stare at him, waiting for an answer. He does this until it becomes awkwardly quiet and the others start to get impatient, then Raven answers simply, "I don't know." After giving a blank look to everyone he looks back to the tv as S.C.A.M.P switches channels, commenting to the robot dog, "I feel uncomfortable watching this... shake weight."

Maximillian Arikas [Aether]:

Says to Raven,

"Hey, there Anakin Solo, Heh, see if you can change the tv channel without using the remote!"

Raven looks at Maximillian for a moment, before nodding and standing up. He walks over to the tv and attempts to press the button to change the channel.

"Thank you Professor, but I doubt I will find what you are looking for. When I checked the terminal for more information on Rook Industries, everything was locked down pretty tight, the public information being very limited. I suspect we will need to find someone who has clearance to enter the plant and speak with him, or find some blueprints ourselves. Not sure how to go about any of those routes though... I'm not too keen on the idea of kidnapping someone for interrogation and-" There is a loud static discharge and the sound of glass cracking as Permafrost is suddently interrupted. Everyone turns around and looks at Raven and the remains of a television screen. Max/Aether bursts out laughing, finding the whole situation incredible and hilarious.

Raven looks at the group as they stare at him and the broken remains of the tv. He slowly sidesteps in front of the tv, shielding it from everyone before calmly saying, "Nothing happened..."
