Welcome to Autumndale
Re: Welcome to Autumndale
Cilian says, "Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I'll take a thick cloak and blanket and a week of rations."

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
"Wouldn't mind a thick wool cloak and blanket meself. How's about five torches, two vials of lamp oil, a spare tinderbox, another water skin and a week's trail rations for each of us?" Vik queries, looking to Cilian to make sure that the party has enough gold to cover all that.

Tub agrees with the purchases as he peruses the shop.
Anything of out of the ordinary interest in here?

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
Cilian nods in approval and asks, "What, umm... what are in those bottles, if you don't mind my asking."

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
I have seven flasks of oil here with me, if any of you guys want to relieve me of some you may save the coin and I will feel less like a disaster waiting to happen. says Sergius.
The young warrior renews his stock of rations, buys a woolen blanket and three torches. Character sheet and coin adjusted.
As he packs up his newly acquired objects he asks the shopkeeper Do you happen to have any arrows available sir?

he notices you looking at the bottles and nods.
Ah those are the concoctions of my brother the alchemist. He has several recipes he makes.
he pulls down 3 small jars 1 with red powder, 1 with yellow powder, 1 with blue powder.
This 1st one he calls his fire powder.
The keep sets a candle up on the counter
Please stand back
He take a small pinch of the red dust and flicks it through the candle flame it causes a fireball almost the size of a fist to explode on the otherside of the flame.
this next he calls choking powder, if I can have a volunteer?

Cilian steps back, leaving Tub standing closest to the shopkeeper...

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
Ah a brave young man indeed, don't worry i will only use a pinch.
The keep takes the small pinch of yellow dust and flicks it in Tubs face.
The young thief immediatly begins to chooke and wheeze grabbing at his chest. This last for about 15 seconds.
The last is the wound powder, a useful thing indeed for a traveler.
The keep pulls a small knife from his pocket and makes a small slice on his finger. As blood begins to well up on the cut he takes a pinch of the blue powder and rubs it on the wound. After a few seconds he wipes the now wet guey powder away to reveal the cut has been closed and healed.

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
Cilian eyes the shopkeeper carefully during the demonstrations, to make sure he isn't trying to pull any sleight-of-hand tricks on them.
Everything seemed to be on the up-and-up...
"How much?" is all he asks

Re: Welcome to Autumndale
Y'all suck!
Gasping for air Tub squeaks, get the blue... not sure we can trust Cil with the red... or yellow. He goes out for some air.
I agree with getting stuff for all... let me know if we are buying separate or as a group.

Cilian does not see anything out of the ordinary, no sleight of hand.
They are expensive, the materials my brother uses are rare. Each vial contains 1 application and each costs 75 gold.
