Sir Gerolt
Well water is fine, Gerolt wanted to call attention to the item itself, not the ichor on it.
Gerolt will get the boy's name, and parents, and pay him a little better than expected. As promised, Gerolt also pays Brulis a little, as well.
He found the others, a bowl of whatever was available, and some bread.
"We meet with the baron min-morning tomorrow. That's when I'll present the drake's head, and the various proposals. After that, we can see what the time-line is. We know talking to the local Khuzdul is important, and talking to Geda is probably a good idea as well."
Gerolt looked at
Arngeir and
Murgar.
"You already have a good relationship there, and I am known at his court. My role is to support you, so you two need to figure out how to best present the idea."

I will move along in the next day or so.
The only Khuzdul population in Chybisa is in Burzyn. Any others would be moving through.

Barely a MS, but still a pass.
Improvement roll:
Percentage: [1d100]=75
Even without adding the SB it's over his current skill. So +1%, will update sheet later.

"I will think as we travel. The approach will depend to an extent on the reaction from the baron to possible involvement by the Kjal's people."

After taking care of Lucy, Volin pays the master of stables (whoever that is) and then heads inside for a bowl of mutton stew with bread and cheese, and a tankard of ale. He watches Arngeir and nods with approval at his choice of drink. "Day at a time, friend."
5d, 4f for stables, common room, and food.

Arengir, you best take the lead, I'm known, but relatively new he'll listen best to you. I'll back you up, but I think its your tak.

Arngeir
"Maybe your skills can help guide us and persuade the nobles of the potential our plans hold."
Before he goes to bed Arngeir does his best to clean his armour and weapons, or at least remove the worst of the blood.

To Arngeir: Consider your questions carefully, and tomorrow I'll obtain what is needed and we can cast a fortune to see what the gods reveal.

Morning of the 3rd of Nolus. Summer. Weather is cloudy. The Young Baron
Everyone wakes early, refreshed, if a little bug bitten. Breakfast is available (same list as lunch and dinner). Murmurers are heard as it seems a rumor has spread that you are visiting the Baron today. You are expected at the manor in about 2 hours.

Volin throws the covers off and gets out of his cot. He sleeps naked and doesn't care who is watching as he beats the "bugs" out of his clothes before putting them on. Humming to himself, he grabs his gear, and heads downstairs.
He orders pottage and bread/cheese and the beer that comes with them. When finished, he'll head out to the stables to fetch and outfit Lucy for the trip.

The Ivinian (who sleeps in his small-clothes) gets up and puts on his trousers. He then proceeds to the well to wash his torso and face before returning and donning his clothes.
He decides to have the soup for breakfast, and...
Percentage: [1d100]=35
... a small beer.
I'm guessing here that small beer is drunk like water, as the water is likely going to make you ill

Sir Gerolt of Selot
Gerolt smiled as he woke. His horses and gear were ready, the drake head was as clean as he could reasonably get it. Buckets of water behind the stable, in the dark, could only do so much. But he had the drake head in his backpack, and his gear was freshly cleaned and oiled. He was as presentable has he could make himself, and he smiled again. It was a good plan.
As he dressed, he checked his gear, armor, and weapons again. There was a right amount of armor and weaponry for him to wear at the meeting, and having everything settled in would be nice. He still needed to get the horses fed and ready, and walk them a little before heading to the keep. Food for himself was secondary; bread, cheese, and water would do.
Dressed and armored, he hoisted the laden backpack and his gear over one shoulder. "I am going to see to my horses, and will leave for the keep in an hour. That will put us there early, and show that we take the audience seriously. It will also let us be seen, which will help rumors grow. Those rumors should intrigue the baron, and inform his questions. I invite you all to join me, but it is your choice. Once this matter is decided, we can discuss with Arngeir and Murgar on how best to approch Kajl Falestra."
Gerolt will pay his bill, take his gear to the stable, and make everything proper and ready. He knows some of this is for presentation, the more he can demonstrate that he looks after the small things, the easier it will be for Jebril to know that Gerolt can handle larger things.

Arngeir
"I will come. Better rumours and link to the Kajl too with me there. Will let you talk, only use my spell if things get more... deep...on my part." he smiles.
He makes sure his clothes, weapons and armour are as clean and as well maintained as they can be in the time (weapons and armour his priority)

Murgar
As usual slept fully dressed and wrapped in his cloak. He will probably miss that others are taking special care for the upcoming meeting. He'll stick with his normal wetting of his face and hair to start the day. Then head for breakfast where he'll again partake of the meat, bread & cheese, and ale.
When Arngeir is present Well you want a casting before the meeting are you just going to find out.

Eldura has breakfast with the rest of the group, looking fresh and rested.
"Are we all set for the meeting with the baron now? It was smart spreading the rumor, but we have to watch out as well. Are we sure the Baron will be on our side? What happens if he decides to take the dragon head and skin to the Earl by himself? To further his own influence. May I at least suggest we leave all parts of the dragon with one of us at a location a bit away from this inn. If things should go bad. In that way we would have some leverage in the upcoming discussion. You can never be careful enough, right?"

Eldura probably doesn't know this but there are no Earls in Chybisa (to small). Just Barons and the King.

Sir Gerolt of Selot
Gerolt nodded and smiled as Eldura spoke. "Splitting things up is a good idea. While I trust Baron Rythal, and to a degree I understand his motivations, I am not him. Nor am I involved in the daily court discussions. He seeks growth and expansion, and that's why our plan should garner his approval. It gives him what he wants and effectively costs him nothing."
He shrugged, and added, "Who stays behind? It would seem to be a risky thing, given that others may look on with undue interest. Rythal himself likely won't do anything untoward, having the hide is much less useful than having a new village and the potential of an alliance. Like all Chysbian barons, he serves the king directly. We are too small for earls, dukes, and such."
