Re: Character Generation Discussions
The main hitch with that theory is that the Clan Navy is based 180+ light years from the UFA Navy with a hostile state in the middle! Aslan Aslan (as opposed to Imperial Aslan) are really out of place in the UFA. And even Imperial Aslan are a long way away: About 100LY!
It's only in your term 4/5 that you have any chance of being in the same place.
The story I've sort of got is...
Denghez and Rradzoka seem to be childhood buddies.
Rradzoka and Yeelau have met somehow helping rescue Denghez and Sazqelimqariepr from joint incarceration - a rescue that has led to Rradzoka having to go into hiding.
Yeelau's Navy Experience and Rradzoka's have obviously played a part in the rescue
Yeelau has met Sazqelimqariepr at some posh bashes while travelling to this far corner of the Extents across multiple worlds and hit it off (for some reason)

I almost want to play that as the prequel scene, like the James Bond opener

Andy:
As the sniper rifle is a military weapon, I'd assume the power pack switch is a major action.
Similar to switching the magazine on an auto-rifle. More time, obviously, if the spare battery is locked in the bottom draw of a filing cabinet down a broken stairway in a locked, lightless room with a door marked "Beware of the Leopard".
Cleaning kit?
Battery Recharging cable?
Carrying Case?
You'll need a licence to have the weapons locked in a safe at your firing range (or while on a recognised hunt). This is available if you take up the "Marine Reserve" option that your pension comes with.
While on SURMAKU territory, you can carry the laser pistol as you have reason to do so...but again you can only do so legally if you get a permit from the Pack Enforcers.
Alternatively, you can stick the pistol in your kit bag under your socks and not tell anyone. The Rifle is harder to hide.
All those grenades definitely need to be hidden.

That sniper's rifle is not charged against your starting cash. Neither are any custom add-ons for it.

Yes, at the very least. It is described as “integrated” but the picture clearly shows it like a standard magazine. At least he doesn’t have to take the thing to reload.

That’s why he’s bought spares. As for Beware of the Leopard, in this case should it Beware of the Dog?
Cleaning kit?

Carrying Case?
Regarding the above, he would want all of these and maybe a spare cable. Are there costs listed anywhere?

Alternatively, you can stick the pistol in your kit bag under your socks and not tell anyone. The Rifle is harder to hide. I can’t imagine where he would hide a rifle like that.
Permits would be preferable.

That means he doesn’t have to pay for the gyro. Can that money be re-allocated to paying for permits?Andy

If you have gone the permit route, this is a pre-game option. Please list those as "Equipment". They cost nothing either.AndyS_66 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 07, 2022 7:02 pm While on SURMAKU territory, you can carry the laser pistol as you have reason to do so...but again you can only do so legally if you get a permit from the Pack Enforcers. I've noted that you are in the Reserves

Updated the character sheets with the package skill allocations
There are some items in Red in Rradzoka's sheet that need definition. I'll update on the sheet when I get these from you.
I'm back Saturday Week and will look at Images, Equipment, etc. at that point.

Re: Character Generation Discussions
I realise none of your characters are Imperials and thus the "Call-Sign" custom is probably moot...but if anyone has a "Tag" that they feel is appropriate for one of the other characters, now may be the time to mention it!
Attempts to "Tag" your own character will (of course) be met with Derision!

Denghez‘s call sign of “Deg” which coincidentally I imagine is Aekhu for Dog.
