But to his surprise, Lady Wen removes her gauntlet and gives Yarl a firm warrior's handshake, forearm to forearm. He glances down as her hand touches his and notes that much of it is scarred and burned, nearly up to her elbow, an old wound, but one which must at one time have given her great pain.
"What happened at the Low Lantern? Word on the street is Ol' Straightstick is dead. At least that's what the Urchins are saying in there." She jerks her thumb in the direction of a group of beds where Yarl can see Diamond Urchin lying still and breathing deeply. She is surrounded by her fellow Urchins. His people are a few beds deeper in. Fingers waves at him with a shit-eating grin and Trueshot offers a nod and a smile.

If Yarl’s heart was fluttering a moment ago, its pounding now.

When Lady Wen motions to his people, Yarl’s gaze shift over and the looks he receives causes him to blush deeply. He hopes its not as obvious as it feels to him.

Errr the Lantern. Well.. Yarl isn’t exactly sure how forthcoming he could and should be. The Fist is all about and Lady Wen might be a warrior but she is a probably wouldn’t be thrilled to hear about how many laws Yarl has broken this day alone. Yeah, well, Ol’ Cholms got a hold of Sticks and took him down to the deeps. I think the Faithless was too distraught about the whole thing that they all cleared off. Me crew and Diamonds was having a drink when the whole thing went down.. He pauses for a moment before doing something stupid. I could tell ya the full tale over a ale if yer interested. Errr my Lady.

Yes, both he and Ambergris would overhear this conversation.

Ambergris

His last action was in the Lower Mausoleum crypt so he would be there when the Deathlock Wights make their appearance.

He decides it is time for himself to make a disappearance. Casts Invisibility upon himself and shouts to the others while he calls for back up.

Okay...I'm slightly confused. I thought everyone was upstairs except for Lesh; guess not ;)
We'll roll with it!

Lady Wen smiles, looks down at her feet, then back up at Yarl. "Sounds like a plan, and I know just the place: The Bold Weasel, just a few streets from here. Close enough to get back in a hurry if we need to. How about 6ish?"
Lady Wen nods and looks around the room at the wounded. "Ol' Cholms...I always thought that was a rumor. You never know, do you?"
And she walks off, to be replaced by Trueshot, who is sporting several bandages. "Alright boss. I guess we did what we set out to do. A little vengeance...costly, but worth it."
Fingers walks over, "Yeah, so what's the plan now? How we gonna pay for all this healing? After getting burned out and all, do we have a stash of coin somewhere?"
The big man sighs and sucks his teeth. "Shame about Judas. That fucker owed me 10 gold...guess...well, he'll need it for the ferryman, eh boss?" He sniffs and Yarl can see the seasoned Rat is red-eyed and trying to hold it together.

In the Lower Mausoleum...

The mausoleum is eerily quiet. Bobb and Keever offer to stay with Lesh and the trio stand on the platform just inside the door. The lanterns continue to burn, driving back the darkness of the tomb. For several minutes, the only sounds are the breathing of the guards and the distant dripping of water. Then...softly at first but growing louder...comes a rustling sound somewhere past the rubble in the southern corridor. Lesh is the first to hear it, but soon it is loud enough for Bobb and Keever to make it out as well.

Appearing around the corner of the rubble are creatures of darkness! Two of them, possibly more, hover for a moment and then move forward, jumping from bier to bier. They are coming for you!
Bobb gasps and Keever literally screams like a frightened child! From behind them, Ambergris steps up alongside of Lesh and gets a good look at the undead abominations coming at them, hissing and clawing the air, ready to rend flesh and spirit! Sizzling bolts of darkness fly from their fingertips as they charge, missing Ambergris and Lesh, and Bobb too, but Keever takes one directly to the chest! He screams again as he falls down, hugging himself against the pain!
(Initiative and actions!)

Ambergris is too wise an old salt to let himself be noticed. He will grab any whistle to blow if one needs blowing, mindful to stay unseen from the undead fiends.

"Ye men of holiness, your nemesis await, crawling from the grave to naysay your Gods wrath and rebuke." he shouts.

As folk pile in he lets them aware he is nearby and searches his pouches for any further box if tricks he can launch in subsequent rounds. which might be quite a procedure as everything upon him is unseen also, so he has to ferret around then put it on the floor where released from his grasp it is visible and he can see what he has grabbed. Rather not rub the injured with Alchemist's Fire when I need to use the Keoghtom's Ointment.

While Yarl is talking with his captains, and Tommy is nearby...there comes the distant shrill of a whistle.

the hairs on the back of tommy neck stand as he hears the alarm whistle
quickly he starts to move down drawing a weapon and calling any able body
"there's more coming, be thankful for the respite but we have more work"

he hurries down the hallway getting ready to continue the fight

Yarl can't believe that Lady Wen is taking him up on his offer. His momentary elation is quickly squashed when the reality of the day comes back. The news of Judas's death is particular hits Yarl hard. Once again he is aware that all the decisions he has been making has been leaving a trail of bodies behind him. Rat bodies. HIs people.

Everything I owned burned up with the Den too. I made a deal with Diamond to take out a loan to help get us all going again. It will be my neck on the line but it is what it is.. He looks at True then Fingers. We had to clear out Sticks and the lot so that now we can get on with it.
Faithless are gone so we should be able to set up with less competition. Rich cunts still need goods only we can smuggle in. Traders still looking to avoid eyes on certain goods. Rats run the river which means ...
. Yarl's voice trails off and the hairs on the back of his neck stand up as he hears the whistle of an alarm. What the fuck is that...

Lower Mausoleum...Wights Attack!

"Ye men of holiness, your nemesis await, crawling from the grave to naysay your Gods wrath and rebuke."
Someone is shouting, but Bobb is too busy being scared shitless! His friend, Keever, is on the ground screaming in agony while the darkness comes alive, full of teeth and blackened claws, hellbent on his destruction.
Beside him, the strange Lizardman shaman holds forth his holy symbol, clacking and hissing in his strange language. The wights act as if they have ran into a solid wall! Lesh takes a step forward, still chanting, still holding forth the holy symbol of Kelemvor, He Who Commands the Dead! And the dead...the undead...flee in fear!
The wights hiss and scurry away, returning to the darkness of the lower hall.
Lesh clacks his jaw, but does not lower his holy symbol. "Ran they have...some time I have bought us; return they will."

In the rooms above...
Tommy hears the whistle and so does Yarl, the latter wondering aloud, "What the fuck is that?"
"There's more coming, be thankful for the respite but we have more work," Tommy says, dashing out the door and down the hall, heading for the stairs to the lower levels.
Lady Wen steps to the doorway as the whistle continues to blow. She smirks and glances at Yarl. "So, you coming?"

Yarl is about to tell the Rats that it's time to clear out when he sees Lady Wen's glance and smirk. Yarl's pride, adrenaline and testosterone all rise up. I'm with ya me, errr my Lady he says with a cocky grin. He quickly says to his men, Gods know whats going on down there again. Maybe its best fer the Crew to leg it outta here. Tell Diamond and hers that this place may not stay safe..
He then draws his short sword, flexes his arm with this club and makes his way with his warrior muse.

Ambergris

Opens the jar of Keoghtom's Ointment that he has and applies some of the doses on the injured.

Not sure who needs healing but use it in the guards and if Yarl, Tommy and other characters are in need.

Lower Mausoleum...Wights Out!

"Ran they have...some time I have bought us; return they will." Lesh says, holding forth his holy symbol. Bobb nods without saying a word, his face a sheen of sweat. Keever is rolling around on the floor in obvious agony from the talons of the wights. But suddenly he stops as an invisible hand swabs his wound with a healing salve (see below). Keever sits up, amazed to see his wounds healed. "Wh-what happened?" he asks, patting his healed neck.

Tommy finds the mausoleum and within a few seconds, arrives beside of Lesh and the guards.
Well, seems the dead don't want to rest down here; we'll have to make sure they do. Lets go...

As Tommy begins to advance down the dark hall, Yarl and Lady Wen arrive. Seeing Lesh and the guards of the Fist, they approach cautiously.
Lady Wen looks at Keever who is still sitting on the floor and frowns. "Get up! Get your weapon and get ready. The dead are always ready. We should be as well."
She follows Tommy and glances back at Yarl. "You coming?"

Actions?
Right now you don't see the wights. They have been repelled by Lesh's holy symbol. The hallway is only lit by a torch so far down...the lower end is pitch black. Give me an initiative roll with your post...just in case ;)

Ambergris

He ministers the dose of Ointment (-1 dose marked).

Does anyone else need healing? Tommy, Yarl?

If not, I will advance, holding a flaming firebrand, at least the light will shine though he himself is still out of sight being invisible but not necessarily unheard.

Sure, a dose of Keoghtom's Ointment for you and Yarl.
3 clay jars of keoghtum's ointment - each jar contains 4 applications.
Ambergris uses Keoghtom's Ointment [2d8+2]=5+2=7 upon Yarl or Lesh

Ambergris uses Keoghtom's Ointment [2d8+2]=11+2=13 upon Tommy Tabaxi.

Keeps one remaining dose for himself when needed.
