Re: Out of Town & Unplugged
North Carolina Mountains are burning. I will be out for a while. Already been 18 straight. Draught is killing us. Rain today managed to get a half day off but back at it tomorrow. Will try to dip in but will be out for a while.
All things are possible through Magic.

Re: Out of Town & Unplugged
Hey folks > I know you're familiar with the term "best laid plans" and mine have been thrown into a tailspin since late Thursday night. My mother is in ICU awaiting a pacemaker, thus, I am at 500 miles from home awaiting the surgeon with my sister. Right now, I'm barely awake and I'm not sure when I will be able to update the game. She is getting an external pacemaker today and after a couple of days of monitoring, the cardiologist will determine if/when she will need a permanent one; although, my sister and I believe it is inevitable.
So, my apologies for the delay; I will post as soon (and as often) as I can over the next few days.

Sorry to hear about your mother. Take all the time you need. Our thoughts are with you.

Re: Out of Town & Unplugged
Sorry for my absence I got Covid late last week and it got worse over the weekend. I'm slowly starting to feel better but still not great.
Gary, sorry to hear about your mother, take all the time you need.

Re: Out of Town & Unplugged
I appreciate all the well wishes
My mother had her pacemaker put in this morning and is doing great. If things continue to progress, she could go home tomorrow; Thursday at the latest, which is the day I am heading back down the mountain to the beach.

Just wrong. I showed one of my newer employees where the local church was so she could go. She just moved here when she took the job.

I know. Don't hold it against me. I'm one of those each to their own types. I don't have a specific religion, unless humor is a religion these days...
