Stinging from the acid bath of the creature's blood, and hemmed in by the party stacked up behind him Connak yells out "I'll kill the eggs! There may be more about to hatch!!" as he attempts to slice through the next host body. Despite the burning of his skin and fir, he manages to launch a competent attack.

Sheriff Yul

"Be the hand of mercy to these impregnated unfortunates Connak'" the lawman says pointing at the trio of glued up hosts,

"and I will be the hand of justice to the alien matron."

Sheriff moves south and right around the curved walls of the hive tunnels to engage A3 in some hack and slash melee.

Sheriff Yul bastard sword melee [1d20]=15 damage [2d8]=15

"We're effed, man."

Alarmed, yet resigned, Fiefo pulls out his rarely used short bow and sights one of the creatures (A2) with his enhanced vision, crosshairs alighting on what he hopes are weak points in it's carapace:

Attack with Short Bow (THAC0 16): To Hit: [1d20+1]=19+1=20 Damage, s/M/L: [1d6]=2

In the demons' abyss, sleek black nightmares burst hissing and screeching from out of the darkness!

In an instant they are upon Ko-Nan and Yul, lacerating them in a ferocious onslaught of talons and fangs! (8hp and 15hp damage respectively!)

Ko-Nan's aim is ruined beating back the fierce assault! Fiefo fires two arrows over the crouching Maskelyn and into one of Ko-Nan's merciless assailants! (A2)

Seeing the deadly danger, Adrock intones a prayer out of distant antiquity! "Sleep pretty darling, do not cry. And I will sing a lullaby..." Suddenly, one of the fearsome horrors falls under his spell and collapses in a sorcerous slumber! (A1)

Yul's great sword sunders his hideous foe from shoulder to hip, killing it instantly in a gush of burning blood!

(Yul, please make an Ability Check vs Dex on 1d20 to evade 5hp damage!)

His arm sizzling and smoking, Connak stabs at the second host body, hoping to kill the ghastly parasite within! Suddenly, his feline eyes see more movement in the darkness! (A4)
Maskelyn too! (A5)

Sheriff Yul

Sizzles and turns to look for the next foe as his outer skin foils melt like wax. He attacks A4 looking a bit worse for wear.

Dropping his bow, Fiefo will rush forward while unleashing his cursed fork and attempt to end the sleeping beast from as far away as he is able.
Can't remember if a coup de grĂ¢ce is auto in this game, so here's an attack roll:

After a brief moment of indecision - stop the hatching of more of these monstrocities or deal with the ones on their way in, Connak decides with a snarl that the adults will be more of a threat and launches himself to come to the aid of his robotic companion on A4.

The murderous onslaught continues!

Seeing Connak commit infanticide against its ghastly offspring, a horrific demon (A4) lunges out of the darkness and rends open the catman's throat with vehement fury! (8hp damage)

Connak's counterattack is spoiled in the ferocious attack! The catman staggers back, his neck bleeding badly! Suddenly, Yul appears behind his merciless assailant, melted and disfigured from the blood of his enemy, and drives his greatsword deep into the monster's back! With a deafening screech, the thing wheels in rage, flanked by the two companions! (And Yul, please make an Ability Check vs Dex on 1d20 to evade 3hp damage!)

Ko-Nan the barbarian narrowly evades another deadly attack! He raises his iron cleaver as Adrock continues his ancient spell-song, "...Golden slumbers fill your eyes!" and the fearsome monstrosity (A2) crashes to the floor in an enchanted sleep! Ko-Nan hacks it into oblivion! (Ko-Nan, please make an Ability Check vs Dex on 1d20-2 to evade 5hp damage!)

Fiefo rushes forth to dispatch the other ensorcelled terror! (A1. Fiefo, please make an Ability Check vs Dex on 1d20-4 to evade 5hp damage!)

Maskelyn shouts, "Heads up, doc!" just in time as another ebon horror leaps from the shadows at Fiefo, slashing and razing the rodent-man in a wild maelstrom of teeth and claws! (9hp damage from A5!)

Staggered by the attack and choking on his own blood, Connak swings powerfully, but wildly as he collides with the wall.

Sheriff Yul

Successful dodges the burning blood and lashes out again at the reptilian alien (A4). He seems to strike at a weak point in the creature's exoskeleton, twisting his sword into its spinal area.

Maskelyn Sorry! Had a 3-day weekend w/ my GF. There are priorities, after all.

Seeing that he's going to be involved in combat whether he likes it or not, Maskelyn moves forward, parallel with Adrock. He grabs for his daggers, and throws two at (A5).

Fiefo

Dex Check (17): [1d20-4]=4-4=0
Did I do that right? Not sure if I avoided the acid damage or not...

The rat man gasps, then wheels and stabs at A5 with his ill-fated, and, now that he thinks about it, probably ceremonial fork:
Attack with Fauchard Fork (THAC0 18): To Hit: [1d20+1]=15+1=16 Damage vs. s/M: [1d8]=1, vs. L: [1d10]=3

In the frenzied chaos of screeching and death, Maskelyn hurls twin daggers at a feral monstrosity, nearly stabbing Fiefo!

His sacred magic spent, Adrock employs the strange silver Wand of Healing of The McCoy to aid the beleaguered ratman! (+6hp)

Image

Fiefo and Yul's hideous assailants survive another deadly plunge of fork and sword! (Both, please make an Ability Check vs Dex on 1d20 to evade 1hp and 2hp damage from acid, respectively!)

Wounded by blood, tooth and claw, neither Connak nor Ko-Nan can land a telling blow in the savage bedlam! But razor-sharp talons lacerate the catman again! (4hp damage)

Maskelyn
Maskelyn, seeing his thrown blades get so close to Fiefo, doesn't throw again. He notices how battered the Cat Man has gotten, and moves that way, ready to drag him clear if need be.
