Medic roll please to fix Jess.

The better you do the more LW equivalents (-ve DMs) you can wipe off.

Jess will still remain wounded but you can stave off the worst of the effects.
Working quickly, Prerna applies dressings with quick healing meds in them to Jess' injuries. "I'd tell you to be careful, but I don't think we have that luxury at the moment."

Roll [2d6]=8 + Medicine-2 = 10

Jess (Prerna)

Prerna's ministrations remove two LW equivalents from Jess' blunt force trauma/broken ribs which I believe puts her at net DM of -1.

(OOC: However, she still has the wounds so any further injury will likely both undo Prerna's efforts and shove Jess nearer to being (clinically in terms of high tech medicine) dead. Two SW wound do it - you already have one! Careful now! )

Freya
Having retrieved her drone from the external Recce, Freya looks about the vehicle bay. Nothing but the dust from outside and soldiers - both lying on the equipment, one more purposefully than the other.

Can we get these doors shut? We're letting all the moisture out! It'll ruin your hairstyles guys.

And she heads back towards her spacecraft. Lets see who is in that hanger.

Dubs contacts frank “Sir, tight beam from Captain Cabral - patching you in”.

Cabral's voice competes with heavy background. He says “Colonel, McClellan have declared they respect Mertactor Lines neutrality but are jamming our comms. Someone has set out what appears to be strobes and a final guidance landing beacon in the dead ground outside the starport. I have a pair of contacts inbound to Inchin at 6G - military speed. My best guess based on tonnage and energy profile is fighters. They were launched from the further trader and were being masked by the front trader. Frank, these people know what they are doing. Our escort fighter is fully defensive and states he is under sensor lock from the armoured trader but can't get orders to fire. I understand that you have wounded - I could send our launch to evacuate them. I believe McClellan would accept a mercy flight on humanitarian grounds”.
"Thank you captain, that's extremely helpful. As for a medivac, I'm about to get an update on our wounded, can you hold briefly?"

Assuming that the captain can hold, Frank will very quickly brief Prerna and Jess on the incoming ships "Major, we do need to speak to Erica, but that will have to wait. Do any of the casualties need a medivac? Assuming they agree and we trust them to keep their word"

Um, well, I think I should keep my team off the roof, at least until after these people land, according to information I received. Prerna shrugs apologetically and smiles wanly.

"Information? Have you been in contact with Erica? Do you know who they are?"

"Yes, and no," Prerna says quietly. "She's going to meet them, I believe to negotiate on our behalf, but they aren't her people."

Frank sighs and runs his hand through his hair

"Unsurprisingly the coalition are using this as an opportunity to limit imperial influences. They're obviously sword world troops. I suspect the pirates are making a break for it in the garage, we need to send support, but someone needs to look after the troops guarding here"

Jess puts her helmet back on, doesn't bother with pulling up her CES top, snatches up her weapon and an analgesic and hurries off.

Headin' for the garage Boss. Stoppin' of at my gaff to rearm.

Jess heads east then turns south past the lounge on the way to the double stateroom beside the eastern entrance to the hangar ( where her Combat Armour and ammunition supply are ).

Prerna nods. "My team and I will take care of it."

Frank attempts to contact Captain Cabral

"Apologies Captain, things are a little... dynamic here. We have four seriously injured who require medivac, that number could increase, we are still actively engaged"

Nope. I'm fine, long as I don't laugh, an' we're short handed enough.

calling on her squad channel: Charlie-boy, what's your position an' situation?

Love's down too, but I don't think that's been reported, hopefully Charlie will let us know.

Arrives to see Dog covering the passage west and Love scoping out the interior of the hangar bay from the hatch leading to the catwalk. Love suddenly takes aim and fires into the hangar with her gaussrifle. She is hit by return fire and pitches forwards over the threshold of the hatch. Dog barges forward and fires a burst down into the hangar bay.
Check the above!

Currently it appears that Freya has wandered into the cheap seats (restricted view) at a newly erupted firefight!

She is positioned just north of the entrance to the hangar deck catwalk.

The bad guys are in the hangar.

Oddly enough (due to the light) she is sure the external hangar bay doors are open!

Cabral replies "Then I am sending our launch and medics. I can't send you supplies or render direct help but I will get your wounded out. You should anticipate boarding and a visual search of our vessel by McClellan on the return to orbit but no interference beyond that".

Prerna returns to her unit and the VIPs. "Do we have everyone here," she asks Baker and Easy.
